Laundry rooms recently at BWV/BCV

Has anyone had a chance to use the laundry rooms recently at either the BWV or BCV's?
I'm wondering if they've repaired the washer/dryers. In January both laundry rooms had broken appliances and what a pain in the butt that was.
Am hoping they'll replace at least the washers before too long....boy they were looking so old and beat up back in Jan, poor things.

Did you report that they were broken? If nobody let them know that there was a problem I doubt they would have fixed it.

I would hope there is a cast member whose job includes checking the washer/dryers on a regular basis. But I also think problems should be reported.

You betcha I reported it. I don't think it helps though as they were as broken on day 3 as they were on day 8.
Maybe it just had to do with the repairman's schedule.

Anyway, still waiting to hear from someone who used the laundry rooms recently.

We used the laundry room at BCV in May and had no problems. All the machines were in service .

DH was in the laundry room on the last day of our trip and a Management type person came in with a clip board and asked him if everything was working, so they do checks at some type of regular intervals!

Sadly, I have to report, the one washing machine was out of order the entire time we were there. June 25 - July 14. When we retuned on July 20, it was still broken. We did report it the first week there. I have a hard time understanding how a company as big as WDW can not find the resources to fix a washing machine in a more timely manner.

I agree. Not only that but as busy as I've seen the washers and dryers I'm a bit puzzled why they don't have more of them in the DVC laundry rooms.

We will be at BCV for the first time. where are the washers and dryers

The laundry is located on the 4th floor to the right of the elevators. As you exit the elevators bear left across from room 416, I believe.
