Are the laundry rooms (on the Wonder) open while the ship is in port?

Thanks

Yes, but I would suggest that if you plan on doing laundry you stay on the ship to keep an eye on it. Sometimes I think passengers toss in their laundry and leave the ship to either explore the port or go on a port adventure. This is so not cool.

I would really give some serious consideration to checking the prices of laundry services and having it done for you. I ended up unexpectedly needing to get a couple things laundered later on while on our last cruise and I was really surprised how affordable it was. One take away from my last cruise is I will plan on packing a little less and use the laundry services more next time! Everything was super clean and pressed perfectly! Never had my shorts pressed before, very nice!

My thinking is - we're paying a lot to cruise and I don't want to spend any time on things like this. When I break down how much I'm paying per day or per hour to be on the cruise I hate the idea of spending x number of hours doing laundry.

Doesn't answer your question, lol. Just my $0.02 :)

I have been on the Wonder 4 times and have done laundry at different hours...it does not appear to ever be closed.

I know - that is a pet peeve of mine - I would never do that. I even set a timer on my phone to make sure I don't forget to go back for it. I am hoping the rooms won't be too busy on one of the port days that we have an early excursion. We are in Vancouver a few days pre cruise so I should be able to just get by with a load or two at the most. One of our excursions might be a little wet/muddy so I don't want to take that stuff home without washing first!

I might have to check into this! Thanks for the advice!

I know that I will be doing laundry on our last port day as my excursion isn't until mid
afternoon. That way I won't be rushed.. Plus, I will get to have a sit down breakfast 8-)
