I do not want to buy a new shirt! I had a pen leak in my shirt pocket, light blue scrub top. Any ideas on getting ink out?

They sell these tiny yellow bottles - I think Carbona (laundry detergent section) - they have them for different types of stains. I think they have one for ink. Not sure if they work.

Try hairspray on it, sounds strange but it works on most ink. Also don't throw it in the dryer until you are sure the stain is gone. If you do that, it will never come out.

Aquanet hairspray. Aquanet has achocol in it which very few hairsprays have now a days. Its the achocol which removes the ink. You can get a can at Walgreens for around $3.00. I used it not long ago on permante marker on a white dress and it came out!

Yep hairspray! saturate it till the ink starts to run, then spray it some more!

after you wash it if there is still some spray it some more and rewash it.

I did this for years for my scrub pockets, works like a charm. And you can do it with any color.

Each time you resaturate the cloth and the ink starts to run, soak up as much of the discolored fluid as you can using toilet paper towards the end before repeating the process.

Have you tried a Tide stick? I've been successful getting ink, grape juice and many other stains removed using it...

I've used rubbing alcohol to remove ink.

If the color doesn't matter you could always get dark blue and dye the top, only costs about $3

Use the rubbing alcohol. I've used the little swabs from work in the past. Works well!
