Laundry @ Boardwalk Villas

Hello ... we are staying at (1) Bedroom at the BWV.
I know they have a laundry, and provide us (1) box of detergent in the room.
Couple questions though

1) The laundry is free in the room, no coins required - correct?
2) Assume the laundry only takes 'powder' detergent , will it use
the Purex 3 in 1 sheet ?

Trying to get some shopping done to day for our trip .. and appreciate the clarifications !!

No coins needed for the in-room machines nor for the laundry room on the first floor. You can use liquid or powder detergent in all machines. I have not used the Purex sheets but many others on these boards have reported using them with great success.

A few people have complained about the 3 in 1 sheets leaving spots on clothing that are either difficult or impossible to remove.

I use Tide Liquid with Bleach Alternative and Bounce or Downy sheets.

we had the purex issue at Blt in the spring. We will be bringing something else on our next trip so we don't have to buy extra boxes in the vending machines

We use the Purex sheets all the time with no problem at all. Not saying there isn't an issue with them, but is it possible it was something left in someones pocket or even in the washer? Just wondering because my DS leaves something in his pocket all the time & one time something left black smears all over the clothes & dryer. Not sure if it was gum, candy, an eraser, etc. but I did get the spots off when we rewashed the clothes & I got the smears off the dryer with a magic eraser. Fun times!
