Laundry at Contemporary

We are staying at the Contemporary for 10 days in October. I am considering doing laundry mid-week to cut down on the amount of clothing we will need to pack for a family of four. Are there machines in both wings? Also, does the Contemporary offer a Laundry Service? Does anyone know how much this would cost? I'm sure it is fairly expensive. Thanks

There are laundry rooms in both Garden Wings at the Contemporary. Yes, the in-room laundry service is expensive as you pay by piece.

Yes there are laundry facilities in both wings, this is a great idea and I have done it many times. I try to do laundry no matter where I go on vacation since it does cut down on how much I have to pack, plus I hate coming home with suitcases full of dirty smelly clothes! Most of the time I throw the loads in head to the pool and go back and put them in the dryer............doesn't feel like I am doing any sort of work at all that way! I usually pack a little laundry soap in a zip loc or take a couple of the tablets but they are becoming hard to find. Also throw a couple of dryer sheets in my suitcases to use they also make my clothes in the suitcase smell good too The laundry service offered by the hotels is just to expensive for me.

We washed once during our June trip. We were in the south wing. The laundry room is on the second floor. Relatively painless.

If you're flying to FL, I'd suggest not bringing powder laundry soap. The airline my confuse it for something else.

The laundry room in the South Garden Wing is very nice. I find it very easy to throw in a load while I'm out by the pool or in the room at night.
