Laundry at All Star Movie Resort

We are staying at the All Star Movie resort and wondering if they have a washer and dryer so I don’t have to pack so much.

Do they have a laundry area?

If yes, how much??

There are two laundry rooms. One by the baby pool and the other by the Mighty Ducks pool. You need to use a debit card as I don't think the machines take cash anymore. I don't remember the price but I'm also curious as I will be using the laundry on my next trip.

Thanks for the info, I’ve read a couple things that say you use your magic band and you get 1 washer and dry for free but I’m trying to confirm that.

Thanks for the info, I’ve read a couple things that say you use your magic band and you get 1 washer and dry for free but I’m trying to confirm that.

The DVC laundry rooms are usually free. The resorts have always been pay but that could have changed.

DVC Members staying on DVC Points have free laundry. For them it has nothing to do with Magic Bands. I have never heard of anyone else having free laundry

I think you need your magic band to open the door to the laundry room; that's all it's good for. We haven't done laundry at Disney since 2016, but I don't imagine it has changed. You can only use a credit card to pay for the washer and the dryer. I want to say it was $2-$3 for each one, but I don't remember the exact amount.

Definitely use the laundry view website, it is nice to check the status of your machine from your room, or wherever.

We used the laundry facilities in August 2018 at Pop Century. $3 per wash, $3 per dry. Watch your credit card statement if you need to "cancel" 1 machine and activate another. We had paid for 1 machine and the door lock was broken. I was able to "cancel" the sale on the touch-screen control, but I was still charged for the machine + some more. Overcharged by $9 for 3 washers and 3 dryers. A quick email to Disney and they refunded $10. Magic band required to enter the room.

There are vending machines that sell detergent. If you go over to YouTube, there are videos of people doing reviews/tours of the laundry facilities that show how to use the machines as well as the vending machines.

Yes-there is a machine that sells "Green" detergent and "Green" dryer sheets for $1.00 per box.
