I once read a trip report where the writer had said, "We're a bit Disney-ed out now, and ready to start exploring other places." I'd always hoped I would have that feeling at the end of this trip, but sincerely doubted it. And you know what?! I really did have that feeling!!

I still need one more trip!

So we awoke that last morning to our final Stitch wake-up call and did some last minute packing and organising.

I totally forgot about the wake-up calls!

We had about 24 hours of flying ahead of us.

I seriously don't know if I could do it...was there an internet connection? That would make a huge difference!

So anyhoo, our first flight to LA was the most exciting, because Jim Belushi was on our plane. Heh! Not the most exciting celebrity, but still a celebrity nonetheless.

I could think of a few celebrities I'd rather be on a plane with , but at least you got a celebrity, right? Most of us get crying little kids who kick the backs of our seats!

So we eventually made it to their house... and I ran straight in to where Annie was hiding (behind a cupboard) and said hello to her! She looked up at me with her big brown eyes, and.... went straight back to sleep. It actually took a lot of coaxing to get her out from behind the cupboard, when we were ready to leave. I think a broomstick may have even been involved.

Cats just don't get it sometimes, do they? You worried so much about her and what do you get? A little look and refusing to come out from behind the cupboard to go home. Do I detect a little attitude? Or is she really just easy-going?

And went back to sleeping with her tongue hanging out just a little bit!!

Does she sleep like that all the time? How cute!

In September, we’re off to tropical Queensland, way up north, to have a relaxing beach holiday. Yay! We’re planning on sleeping in, snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, and swimming in our beautiful resort pool a lot!

This is the beach at Palm Cove, where we're heading in September! Pretty!!

I want to go there!!! It looks just like Hawaii! I'm adding Palm Cove to my Australia notes for "someday"!

You can't use the Internet on the plane, no! In the airport, yes, but not the plane. But there's a squillion movies to watch instead!

I definitely say that about Times Square too - in fact, I think I even said it on your NY trip report! It still seems a bit surreal that we actually stood there in Times Square, I love it!!
