Laughter, Tears & Screams- Two Aussies in WDW! New - 6/10 - The End!!

Hi everybody! :wave2:

Augh! We had parent-teacher interview day today at school, and my brain is a bit fried! 24 sets of parents over 5 hours... Waaah! I'll be back with a new update tomorrow, once my brain starts working again!! :faint:

It took me so long to finish reading and catching up on your TR! The Keys look B-E-A-UUUtful!!!! I'm glad that you had a safe drive to Orlando.
The water at the WL sounds like the water at MK! I can't even drink it out of the fountains anymore. We ate at the castle in 2004 and I could taste it in the pop!! GROSS I can't wait to see the view of the courtyard from your room.

Ooh, I don't know if I ever drank from a fountain at MK! I wonder where the water comes from then, if it's so bad. Yeuck! I didn't notice anything about the drinks at the castle... maybe I was immune to it by then!
I'm glad you're all caught up! :thumbsup2

nope, never stayed there. but it's my favorite resort for sure! the only resorts i haven't seen with my own eyes are all the moderates (not on purpose - just a coincidence) and the all star value resorts and so far WL is my favorite!
and i just meant that you should take the boat to see the docking area around WL. so you got to see what i was referring to! i'd forgotten that there's a boat to the CR too. no worries! :thumbsup2
i love spectro! i'm not a big parade person either but spectro is just cool. i've seen the MK afternoon parade once and the AK afternoon parade once and that's enough for me. i do enjoy the block party bash and spectro though so i try to catch those when i go.
we noticed this in december and not just about WL but about all the water at disney world. it just smelled bad! i thought that may be why i wasn't feeling so good because i always order water whenever i eat anywhere so i started drinking my bottled water instead at the restaurants!

WL is definitely very pretty! You'll love staying there then!!
I remember your Block Party Bash photos from your December trip... it actually looks like lots of fun! Next time we head to Disney (maybe one Christmas-time! ;) ), I'll definitely have to check out a parade.
I don't know where the water came from, but yuck! I didn't think the water tasted as bad in restaurants we ate it, but it still wasn't flash. Was it just then, or is the water always yucky at Disney!? Hmmmm!

What a great trip report! I'm grabbing my milkshake and I'm ready to read more!

Yum, what flavour milkshake!?! Welcome and thanks for reading!!

This is awesome.....I loved your gorgeous wedding pictures!

Thank you!! And welcome!! :goodvibes

Another great installment!! I'm definitely making a ressie for the Plaza for when we go in July!

Yay, you'll love The Plaza! Nice and simple, but very good! :thumbsup2

I read your other report! Great start to this one. LOVE all the pictures. You guys are so cute.

Hi!! Welcome back!! Glad you're enjoying this report so far too... and thanks for your kind words!

Hello! I know I am going to enjoy this report. We are the same age! First, how lucky are you to get to do a 7 week U.S. trip! I would have SO much fun planning that!!!! Also, I love Hawaii. You seem like my kind of gal! Can't wait to read it all!!!! :thumbsup2
Oooh. Now I just found your first report. I am hooked! I love to travel and wish I could do as much as you. Got any saving up tips you can share?
Seriously...are you actually ME on another continent?

Hello, me on another continent! How funny! I see we both like to use lots of exclamation marks too!! As for saving tips... ummmm, nothing too new or amazing, I'm afraid! I just put away a certain amount of my pay each fortnight, and so did Conan. We saved for nearly a year. I find it much easier to save money when there's a proper goal at the end!
Thanks for popping in and saying hi!! I'm glad you're enjoying my report so far! :woohoo:

Good Morning Conan! :wave2:

"Good morning Trixie!" says Conan!! :lmao:

We have never seen a full parade either...except for Spectro...it's the only one we're actually interested in. We used to love the old electrical parade so this brings back some great memories for us.

Spectro did look pretty, from what we saw! Who knows, maybe next time!? :confused3

I haven't been on the Trippie Board in a while but I came over tonight and found you! I am so glad I did!
First off, you know how to travel! LOL! It must make sense to do extended trips with the distance you must come. How exciting to be gone for weeks and weeks and see so many places! I love that you shared the first part of your trip too. NYC is amazing. I haven't been there for NYE but you seem to have done it the right way with the party. I would never want to be out in the streets ALL day long! Ugh, not at that time of year (freezing!).
Love love love your castle pick where it has the rainbow lights on it and the fireworks, just beautiful!
Looking forward to more! You two are an adorable couple!
Allyson

Hi Allyson! I've always been a fan of your trip reports, so I'm glad you've popped over to visit mine! (Also, yay! You've updated your solo report!!) I think we were in Disney the same time in January, weren't we?
You're right about our reason for staying for a few weeks in America - it's such a long way to come (and an expensive flight!) that it makes much more sense to save up and make them longer trips.
Thanks for all your lovely comments! I must go over and check out your new update now!

Alrighty, I'll be back tomorrow with our Hollywood Studios day! :)

Here's Conan hopping on the bus for our first time this trip!

I never thought to take a pic of the buses...what a good idea.

IMG_8818.jpg

This is such a good pic of the two of you! So cute!

So after a fun afternoon at Magic Kingdom, we were starting to get pretty hungry! It had been a while since we last ate - luckily we had made an early dinner ADR at The Plaza 6 months beforehand!

Phew! :lmao:

We just love Philharmagic! It's just so Disney-ish! The songs are great and the whole thing is just so much fun!

It was closed when we were there.

Here's Main Street on our way out, all lit up and looking pretty!

IMG_8849.jpg

Never thought to take a pic of that, either. :rolleyes1

Our room ended up being even more fantastic than I'd hoped!! It was exactly as the CM that afternoon had told us - we were on the 5th level, pretty much in the centre of the "bear face" part of the WL, with a beautiful courtyard view! AND a king bed!! Room 5075! Woohoooooo!!! :yay:

Score!

I had no idea that headboard was carved like that!

The only thing we didn't love about our room was the water. There's no other way to say it, so I'll just say it. It stank. And it tasted even worse! Like it had come straight from a stinky river. Ewww!

YUCK! Maybe they just figure it adds to the rustic-ness of the lodge! :rotfl2: Kinda like being at our cabin. Double yuck! I won't even brush my teeth in that water!

Have a great day Conan!

Yay!!! I am a bit under the weather today, & thought I'd check out the TR board, and was so excited to see another trippie from you! I read your last report, and loved it. You're a dynamic writer, and your pictures are terrific! Great job so far on this one, and I can't wait to read more!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Love the pics of Wilderness Lodge, it's one of the resorts we're considering for our future trip... Wilderness or Beach/Yacht. Originally I was leaning towards Beach/Yacht but not too sure now... Wilderness looks lovely! hehe.

I can't believe your hubby said Haunted Mansion was "lame". What!?! It's "fun" not "lame". He must be spooked.. hehe.

Wonderful pictures of Wishes. Tink looks a bit like a neon cricket. ;)

What a great first day! I just love the rooms at the WL. Can't wait to see your view!

Thanks for the shout out, pal! Hope your brain is doing better after conferences. I can't imagine trying to find something complimentary to say about every kid. :rotfl:

It's a lovely rainy day here in Melbourne!! A nice day to stay inside and update one's trip report! :surfweb:

I never thought to take a pic of the buses...what a good idea.

(Your posts look a bit odd when they're bundled together like that, sorry!)
I took photos of pretty much everything the first couple of days! Except the Haunted Mansion. For some reason, I have no photos of that! Boooo!
The headboards in the WL are ace! I sat there on the bed studying it for quite a while! Heh!
As for the stinky water, it was pretty gross. I brushed my teeth in it, but I didn't swallow any! It wasn't a funny colour or anything - just stinky!

Hi!!! Of course I remember you from my last trippie! I'm glad you stumbled over this one too! :thumbsup2 I hope you're feeling a bit better. Thanks so much for your nice words - a dynamic writer, wow!!! What a compliment! :goodvibes

Love the pics of Wilderness Lodge, it's one of the resorts we're considering for our future trip... Wilderness or Beach/Yacht. Originally I was leaning towards Beach/Yacht but not too sure now... Wilderness looks lovely! hehe.

Oooh, we really love the Beach/Yacht Club resorts too! We visited them for the first time during our trip. I took lots of photos because my sister is staying at the Yacht Club in May, so I'll they'll be coming up later in my trip report. Conan wants to stay there next time! It's lovely! You've got a tough choice to make!!
And you're right, the Haunted Mansion is fun! I'm sure he's just a scaredy cat. :goodvibes

Wonderful pictures of Wishes. Tink looks a bit like a neon cricket. ;)

A neon cricket!! Haaa! :lmao:
My brain has definitely settled again since the frazzling parent/teacher interviews. I was exhausted yesterday, but after a big sleep, I'm back to normal now! Phew!

Your Wishes photos were beautiful. I also really like your room at WL. I can't live without my king size bed. Hopefully your bed was as comfy as it looked. :thumbsup2

 Lovin your trippie! Keep up the great work. I'm planning my first trip to the World in January 2010, so until then, I have to live vicariously through everyone else's trips!!

I'm so jealous of all your travels! I took a 2 month trip around the US when I was in middle school (2 months off school--sweet deal huh?) and saw the Keys and New York, but I barely remember! It's great to get a little refresher!

Now if I could just get hubby to consider Hawaii... I should just show him your pics. You guys did so much while you were there, and I think that would suit my non-beach loving man!

Eagerly awaiting your next update...

After a fantastic big sleep in our enormous WL bed, we woke up at 8am, ready and rearing to go! Today was our Hollywood Studios day, and we were excited! It was our favourite park in 2006 - we especially loved Tower of Terror and Rock'n'Roller Coaster - and couldn't wait to visit again! :yay:

I was also really keen to see the view from our balcony during daytime. The curtains in our rooms worked really well and it still felt really dark. But woohoo! We opened the curtains to find this...

IMG_8876.jpg

Awww, lovely!! I especially liked that morning because you could still see the mist over the water. So pretty. Here's some other views from our balcony we took later in the week.

Looking left...

IMG_9698.jpg

Looking straight ahead...

IMG_9695.jpg

And looking right...

IMG_9697.jpg

And here's our cute little balcony...

IMG_9116.jpg

We loved our view! We spent quite a bit of time out on our balcony during our time there, eating snacks and just chilling out.

So we didn't eat breakfast that morning. We're not huge breakfast people anyway, but mostly, we didn't want to have full stomachs when we did the Tower of Terror! At 8.30am, we headed out to the bus stop, where we only had to wait 5 minutes for the bus to Hollywood Studios. Woohoo!

Our bus stopped at the Grand Floridian on the way, but we still made it to HS by 8.50. Phew!

IMG_8877.jpg

We really wanted to be there at park opening at 9, so we could head straight to Toy Story Mania for fastpasses. We joined the big crowd waiting for rope drop, and at 9am, ta-daaaaaah! We were off!!!

WOW!! It seemed three quarters of the crowd went straight to TSM with us. Amazing! I really couldn't see a thing - we were all just pushed along in the same direstion like a herd of cattle. Wah! Crazy! We finally made it to TSM and waited in a very long fastpass line. I always seem to choose the line behind someone collecting 46 fastpasses for a huge group. But nevertheless, we got there eventually, and received our Fastpasses with a return time of 10.20am. Not too bad! :thumbsup2

Straight after that, we backtracked and headed to the Tower of Terror. This was one of my favourite rides in 2006. Conan doesn't love it as much - he finds it a bit jarring, I think. Again, I think he's just a scaredy cat. Hehee.

IMG_8880.jpg

There was a 10 minute wait for TOT, which really only turned out to be about 5 minutes. Plus, there's lots to look at in the queue anyway. Here I am chilling out in the beautiful hotel...

IMG_8879.jpg

Yayyy! I just love Tower of Terror. It's so much fun! We really seemed to have a LOT of drops in our ride this time. We were sitting in the back row, but it was still awesome!

Then it was Rock'n'Roller Coaster time!! Conan's favourite ride of all time. I love it too. There was a 15 minute wait, which again, didn't turn out to be that long.

IMG_8885.jpg

It's just so much fun! I can't help but scream my head off on most rides, this one included. I don't mean to - my mouth just opens and screams come out! Conan, on the other hand, laughs. A lot!! He can't help it either! That's where the "laughter and screams" part came into my trip report title!

We saw a PhotoPass dude standing out the front of Rock'n'Roller Coaster, so we decided to start our photos off with him. I really wanted to do the PhotoPass thing this time around. We hadn't done it in 2006 and I just thought it might be fun. I received our PhotoPass CD after a week of ordering it - I thought that was great, considering they had to send it to Australia.

He told us to do the rock sign thingy... As you can see, I didn't know how to do it properly!! Clearly I'm not very rock, with my Tinkerbell top. Hehee. How embarrassing!

image011.jpg

Next, we decided to go and watch the first performance of Beauty and the Beast. I just love the musical - I saw it 3 times here in Melbourne, when Hugh Jackman played Gaston!! :lovestruc We didn't get to see this version in 2006, so it was on our list to check out this time.

We said hi to Snow White on the way...

IMG_8886.jpg

And we had a PhotoPass photo in front of ToT, too!

image021.jpg

We eventually made it to the theatre...

IMG_8887.jpg

So... it was okay. I guess it's very difficult to trim down a story into a 30 minute version. It just seemed very choppy and abrupt. The only thing I wrote in my notes about it was - "Meh." So clearly, I wasn't that much of a fan!! This Gaston was no Hugh Jackman, anyway. Hehee.

IMG_8891.jpg

IMG_8889.jpg

I'll break this into two parts since I have so many photos!

After that, it was Toy Story Mania fastpass time! Yayyyyy!!!

IMG_8895.jpg

I just love this new area! It's all so colourful and fun. And crowded with people, but oh well.

IMG_8906.jpg

One thing about using fastpasses is that we seemed to miss a lot of the queue, which I've heard is great. Like Mr Potato Head. I'm not going to complain about not having to wait though! Here's our mini-queue photos...

IMG_8897.jpg

So snazzy in my fancy new glasses...

IMG_8900.jpg

And finally, it was our time to hop inside one of these...

IMG_8901.jpg

We had a blast on this ride! Conan especially loved it. It really is very cool. We both love Toy Story (who doesn't?!) and all the different games are just so cute and fun! Conan beat me of course, boooo! It was definitely worth the fuss of waiting for fastpasses! Here we are, happy after our ride...

IMG_8902.jpg

Afterwards, we headed across the walkway and met Woody and Buzz. Woody looks like he's struggling to stand up!

image036.jpg

We decided to have a little walk around and explore after that. The morning had gone so quickly, and we really hadn't stopped to look around! I like these broomsticks...

IMG_8894.jpg

We visited the hat...

image024.jpg

And we saw Stitch! Yayyyyy!!

image031.jpg

(Don't you just love our shocked faces!? What terrible acting! :lmao: )

We also picked up fastpasses for Rock'n'Roller coaster, with the plan of coming back later that afternoon and riding it again.

It had been a really fun, busy morning at Hollywood Studios! By that stage, it was almost 12 oclock and we were starving!! We had a lunch reservation at Sci-Fi Dine In for 12.30, but we decided to head there and see if we could check in early. We also wanted to check out Lights, Motor, Action, which was on at 1.20pm, so we were hoping we could eat earlier to make it in time for the show, too. Eeek!

I'll tell you all about that in the next chapter! :)

He told us to do the rock sign thingy... As you can see, I didn't know how to do it properly!! Clearly I'm not very rock, with my Tinkerbell top. Hehee. How embarrassing!

image011.jpg

:lmao: I may be wrong here, but I believe you are saying, "I love you" in sign language, my friend. And, while it's not rock & roll, it's very sweet.

I always laugh on the RnR and ToT, too, so Conan and I are twins in that respect. :rotfl:

What a great view at the WL! I do love that resort--my only issue with it was that I hated being so far away from Epcot. But it's just so beautifully done with the landscaping and all the nooks inside the hotel.

Okay, although I tend to lurk on this and the dining board a lot, I know when I start sharing pieces of a TR with my husband, it's time to post a lil hello!

I started with your dining thread, which I LOVE, then read here, and am in the first 1/4 of your first TR now. The two of you are JUST ADORABLE and I have loved all of your reports. So, HI, and thanks for all the great writing. Your trips blow me away. I will NEVER be able to take a 7 week trip. At least not until I retire. And, as many have said, you have seen more of my country than I have! I love reading about your adventures all over, so keep up the good work!;)

Actually, "I love you" would be a combo of Conan's sign and yours! It's the three fingers ;)

The water all over Orlando, from what I've heard, is pretty nasty. I do recommend sticking with the bottled water as much as possible!

We stayed at the WL in Sept of 07 and really liked the hotel, but would've liked it better if we'd gotten your upgrade. WOW what a view!!! We tend to be Beach Club/Boardwalk people more often than not. If you end up over in that area next time I bet you'll love it! Can't beat the convenience. Well, unless you are on the monorail, of course.....

So...thanks again for the great reports. I'm very much looking forward to hearing more!

I thought it was more a hang loose, too, but great picture, no matter what you are doing with your hands.

My three year old is next to me and loved the pictures of "Toy Story MANIAC." Too funny. That's what she calls it! Then, she wanted to know if you were Stacey....??.....

My three year old loves watching Stacey in the hotel room!

Have a nice weekend.

You're view at WL was breathtaking!! I could have just stayed on the balcony all day.

This was Friday Jan 9th right? Do you know we were at DHS that day too? At rope drop. Went right to TSM for FPs (but then we rode). Had lunch at Prime Time and then did the 1:20 LCA show? We could have walked right by each other!

Allyson

Your Wishes photos were beautiful. I also really like your room at WL. I can't live without my king size bed. Hopefully your bed was as comfy as it looked. :thumbsup2

Our bed was great!! Very comfy!! It was so big though - we weren't used to it!

Thank you, and welcome!! I hope you convince your husband to consider Hawaii - it's such a fantastic place! There's plenty to do for non-beach loving people too. :thumbsup2

Great pictures! I just love DHS! :lovestruc

Thanks!! We love DHS too!

:lmao: I may be wrong here, but I believe you are saying, "I love you" in sign language, my friend. And, while it's not rock & roll, it's very sweet.

Oh, wow! I was saying I love you in sign language!!!? I had no idea what I was doing, really! (Obviously!) :lmao:
You're a laugher on big rides too!! Is Alex a screamer? It's funny what comes out, isn't it!?

Hey! I'm glad you decided to say hello!! Welcome!!
Thank you for all your lovely words!! So nice!
We'll definitely stick with the bottled water next time, even for brushing my teeth. Yeuck!
The Beach Club and Boardwalk resorts really appeal to us too, so who knows? Maybe next time!! They're all so pretty!!

I think you're saying "Hang Loose" in your RNRC pic! Hawaii anyone??? :cool2:

I'll take Hawaii please!! I'm really not sure what I was doing in the RNRC pic. Hehee. Oh well!

I thought it was more a hang loose, too, but great picture, no matter what you are doing with your hands.

Toy Story Maniac! Hehee! How cute!
Am I Stacey!? Oh my goodness!!!! Your 3 year old has found me out!! :lmao:

awesome photos!

Thanks!! :thumbsup2

Yep, it was Friday 9th January!! Wow!! Amazing! I wonder if we saw each other!!? It's a small world after all... :)

Hope everybody is having a fun, relaxing weekend!! :yay:

So when I left off, we'd had a big, fun morning at Hollywood Studios, and were about to head to Sci-Fi to see if we could check in early for lunch. It was around 12 noon, and our ADR wasn't until 12.30, but good news! They sat us pretty much straight away!! :woohoo:

We love Sci-Fi. It's not exactly gourmet-style food, but it's lots of fun and the food is still yummy! Here I am in the back seat of our car...

IMG_8914.jpg

Now, I've been thinking about it, and I don't think I'm going to post all our food photos in this trip report. Because there are SO many food photos! We were on the deluxe dining plan, and it was waaaay too much food. I've almost finished writing my dining reviews though, so if you want to hear about (and see!) what we ate at each restaurant, feel free to click on the link in my signature to check them out too. I hope that's okay!

So after a big lunch, we rolled out of Sci-Fi and slowly made our way to Lights, Motor, Action! We made it just in time for the 1.20 show, which was great because we missed this in 2006, and Conan really wanted to check it out. With onion rings and chicken burgers gurgling around in our tummies, it was nice to be able to sit down for a while anyway!!

IMG_8925.jpg

(That lady is totally posing for our photo!)

We really enjoyed the show! Conan loved it more than I did, admittedly, but it was pretty entertaining! Go little red car!!

IMG_8926.jpg

Afterwards, we went for a little wander and came across the Streets of America section. The Osbourne lights were still up, but weren't being lit anymore at this stage. The area was packed with people who had just come out of Lights, Motor, Action like us!

image040.jpg

We headed over to Star Tours next. Conan is a Star Wars fan from way back, and even though it's not really one of our favourite rides, we thought we'd check it out anyway. Why not!?

IMG_8930.jpg

Ouch!! Now I remember why not! That ride hurts!! It's so bumpy and jerky! I had to close my eyes a few times, and even Conan, who never feels the effects of any ride, said he felt a bit squeamish afterward. We were in the front row, I wonder if that makes a difference? Nasty Star Tours!!

Next up was something else we missed in 2006 - Muppet Vision 3D!

IMG_8931.jpg

I think I'm a bit odd here because I've never really liked the Muppets. I liked the Muppet babies when I was little, because they were cute, but the Muppets were never my thing. Conan wanted to check it out though, so we did. And oh-oh, I didn't like it! I found it a bit boring. Eeeek! Conan quite liked it, but he was distracted because the guy next to him was snoring. Full on snoring!! Conan gave him a couple of gentle elbows into his side, but it didn't help. How bizarre!

Anyway, with the dramas of the Muppets behind us, we headed over to Rock'n'Roller Coaster again, to use our fastpasses. Woohoo! Rock on! (Or "I love you!" or "Hang loose!" or whatever hand sign you might like to make! :lmao:) We were surprised to find that even the Fastpass line was really long! We waited around 15 minutes in the Fastpass line - but it was worth it! We love that ride!!

IMG_8935.jpg

Continuing on with our speedy afternoon tour of Hollywood Studios, we decided to do something else we hadn't done before - the Disney Animation tour! Now, obviously I didn't do my research on this, because I thought we'd go straight into the room where we get to learn how to draw Disney characters!! But instead, we were taken into a small room, and met our "host".

I'm a bit unsure of how to describe what happened during our time in the room, because I'm still a bit unsure of what happened!! We really, really couldn't understand what our host was saying. So our time in that little room went a little bit like this - "Now I'm going to jsjkhfd jimsks mmcsjss mais, okay?" Then, "What do trppw xouyam huta pop run wqakk app?" Oh, my goodness. I know there was a dragon she was speaking to, and I know we watched a trailer for Bolt, but that was about it!!! Conan and I looked at each other at one stage and both cracked up laughing at exactly the same time. I'm not exaggerating - I really have NO idea what she was saying!! She was speaking really fast and she was mumbling at the same time. Hehehehee. Totally bizarre.

Apparently her speech came to an end, because after one more, "Now yutt ahdoo ahdywpq ajja apphe, thank you!", the doors opened and we were lead into another area! Phew!!! We were baffled as to which area we were now in, but we stumbled across Mickey! Yay!

We also found some little computer screen thingys, which asked us some questions to determine which Disney character we were most like. Fun! Conan was most like Buzz Lightyear, which I can totally see!

When it was my turn, I answered my questions with the intent of being most like Belle, but alas!! Guess who I was most like!?

Oh nooooo!!! I'm not really a Cindy fan. My niece loves Cinderella, and I'm forever trying to convince her that Belle is much more clever, and that Tink is much more fun, but nope. Cindy it is. For both my niece, and me apparently!! Heh!

We really wanted to do the drawing thing, but we couldn't work out where to go! And also, we were too scared that it might be the same host teaching us how to draw! Eek! So instead, we made a run for it and went to watch The Little Mermaid instead.

Conan and I both enjoy this show! It's so relaxing and pretty. Ariel wasn't quite as good as the Ariel we'd seen in 2006 though, but it was still fun. Even after watching The Little Mermaid on Broadway!

I just love the big Ursula puppet thingy!

By this stage, it was around 5pm, and we were a bit exhausted! It had been a big day! I'm pretty sure that was also the longest day we've had in one park, ever! Normally we go back to the resort at around 2 or 3, but we were having such a fun time, we just forgot all about leaving! :cool1:

So we headed out to the buses, stopping for a Photopass photo in front of the hat on the way...

We were back at the WL by around 5.15. I took some photos of Conan on our favourite little bridge in the lobby!

We headed back to our room, and had a little relax. I also did some loads of laundry in the WL's beautiful laundry room! Boring, but practical!!

That night, we had a dinner ADR at one of favourite Disney restaurants - 'Ohana!! Yayyyy!! We adored 'Ohana last time, and couldn't wait to try it again!! We still had our little Alamo car for a few more days, so we drove over to the Polynesian to start our feast!!

We waited a little while for our table to be ready, but had some great drinks while we were waiting. Conan had a Pina Colava and I had the infamous (and really, really strong) Lapu Lapu!

(Sorry the photo's so big!)

Anyway, we had a lovely dinner filled with a feast of food, dancing, singing, and Wishes from our window!

'Ohana continues to be one of our favourite Disney restaurants ever!! It's so relaxing and fun, and the food is fabulous!!

Feeling very satisfied and full, we drove back to the WL. We showered, watched some tv, and were in bed by 11. We had an action-packed, fun-filled first full day at Disney, and what's more, we had so many days left!! Our Disney vacation was off to a great start!!

Up next... Our day at Seaworld! :rolleyes1
