Wife and I ate dinner Saturday night at the Latin Quarter. The dining experience was superb. They had live entertainment in the form of a spanish guitar player. He was excellent background music for the meal, not too loud like some places.

Wife had the filet mignon with mashed, I had the grilled mahi. The filet was to die for . :o The mahi was good, but a little too plain for my taste (I like it blackened and shame on me for not asking).

Second best meal I've ever had (Emeril's was best and priced like the best) at Citywalk.

Highly recommend this place.

Just a warning for those who are squeamish like me. My tropical shrimp were looking at me. Luckily, DH is a chef and took care of everything for me and they came back "normal". I just don't see anyone would want heads on their shrimp.

Can children eat there? It seems more of an adult atmosphere, or am I mistaken? Thanks.

They have a kids menu so kids are welcome I imagine as the night goes on it gets more adult:jester:

We went in there with 3 adults and 4 boys between 4 and 6. If children were welcome before, I am sure we changed that!!! Yes they have a kids menu, and after asking a couple of times we were able to get cups with lids for them. They brought crayons to the table for them. We got there right after opening, so it was not very crowded, no music going on or anything. There were other children in there as well. It is a nicer restaurant atmoshere, though.
