Hello,

We are considering taking another ABD Backstage Magic tour next summer. We went back in April 2011 with the Dis Exclusive trip. But this time would be without our daughter, but traveling with friends who haven't done ABD before.

The thing is, the only time we can get in is late on Sunday, after the welcome dinner.

Has anyone had to do this before. You think we could still check in even if we arrived after 10PM?

We actually can't arrive even a day earlier because we have to sign in our daughter at summer came that Sunday morning. So we wouldn't have the chance to fly out until the afternoon.

I think you would be fine, not on the BSM trip but on 2 of my european trips guests arrived late as in the next day due to airline issues. Call ABD I am sure they could work it out for you.

If by "check in" you mean to the hotel, yes that's not a problem. The front desk is manned 24/7.

You'll have a small problem with ABD. You'll miss the first day of your experience, which is more than just a welcome dinner. You'll also not know when/where to meet for the start of the second day's activity. Not insurmountable issues.

I'm certain ABD will work with you. The Adventure Guides will work their magic for sure. We had a father and son who arrived late on the first day of my Greek Odyssey ABD, and the Guides were totally aware of where they were, and what was going on with them, and they arrived at the hotel mid-dinner. My only concern would be if something happened to your flight, and you didn't arrive until some time Monday. Again, not insurmountable, but you'd miss some of the first day, also. Fortunately, the hotel isn't a huge distance from the activities, so I'm sure the Guides would work it out for you to meet up with the group.

The trips that I was on where the guests arrived the next day ABD worked their Magic and the guests just turned up at the activity we were at. So they do have ways of dealing with late arrivals
