Latest Room Assignment Time

What is the latest you’ve received your room assignment? We are driving overnight (3a arrival). It is now 8:00p and no room number yet. I received the email from the AKV kidani General Manager at 3:05 welcoming us and the card had the $100 charge done overnight.
 
Sometimes I don’t get the text. But when I check MDE, room number is there.

Latest for us was around 5:30 pm.

Not there unfortunately. I did mark after midnight as arrival and they put a note in we would be arriving late. I really have no desire to go by the front desk at that hour.

Oh my, hope you get the room number soon via text or MDE. To answer your question, we've waited as late as 7 PM for our room but normally get it much, much earlier.
 

The latest time I got my room number was 6:30pm and that was during the first couple months after they reopened from COVID. Needless to say, I was on my way to the front desk to complain, (I was pregnant at the time with severe "morning" sickness), when I finally got a notification and the room number showed up in the app.
 
10:45p and nothing. The last two trips alerts came in right at time I said we would be there. Be curious if this one comes at 11:59p.
 
I have never gotten a room ready text before until after being on property. Has anyone else? So if you have the app set to track, once getting on property have started to receive texts.
 
This happened to me once when my arrival was noted as after midnight due to us going to Halloween horror nights first. The resort couldn’t figure out why I hadn’t gotten the text as my room had been assigned. If you don’t want to stop at the desk I would give them a call and they should be able to give you your room number and push through the arrival texts for you.
 
After midnight and nothing. I called. I was told our room number but somebody dropped the ball and didn’t finish checking us in so we have to stop at the front desk.

ETA: Got here at 4:00a and got checked in right away. She said there was no credit card on the room, but there was as they already did the $100 hold. She then looked on another screen and saw it. So I suppose the issue was simply good old Disney IT.

At WDW, latest was 4:00 at BWV. VGC was once 5:00.

At Poly, I had stopped at the desk when we arrived around 1:00, not ready. Stopped by again at 3:00, it was ready. Text arrived 3 days later.
 
Latest was 5:15 pm at BCV. The room we'd been assigned was never ready, so when we went back at 5:15, they gave us a different room that they admitted may not fulfill our requests. It didn't, but at least they'd warned us and at that point, we were just glad to be in a room.
