Just wanted to post this to make sure no one misses out on their trips. Just for the hell of it I went to the Disney website and asked whether the final payment date on packages was 30 days before check in or 7 days before, as I've read in some places, and this is what she said.

Can you tell me if the final payment due date on packages is still 30 days before check in or is it now 7 days before check in as I have read in a few places?

The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival. You may pay at your own pace until that date or pay in full on the due date.

That is the latest info from "Anne". The latest info actually published on the Disney Travel Agent site is as follows:

Effective March 15, 2020, until further notice, we’re making a temporary adjustment to our final payment policy for Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort packages booked through Walt Disney Travel Company. For existing bookings, final payment to WDTC will now be due 7 days prior to Guest arrival.

Not surprisingly, Anne is wrong. It's 7 days.

I wish they would put the 7-day policy on their website. I didn’t book through a TA. I booked off of Disney’s site. Every CM and email notice I have received says 30 days. (I am booked for July 25.)

This one is driving me nuts too. Generally speaking they've been so good/transparent/clear (in my opinion) on the information about rescheduling and guest-friendly refund options, except with the 30 day package payment thing where the confusion is repeated daily around here on multiple threads. Just put the simple statement on the web, pull the plug on the auto e-mails, and done deal - would save a lot of planning stress for some given how fluid this situation is, in my opinion.
