Just thought I'd share our latest Hertz experience. We got them through Priceline for our last trip and the next one coming up. For our last several trips, we've had Alamo and Avis, and the lines have been long (even at Avis, which is unusual). When we arrived downstairs, we didn't see the Hertz bus waiting there as usual. I was just going to pull out my cell phone to call when one came pulling up...I should have known I wouldn't need to call. We climbed on, along with another party, and set off to the lot. There was a lane closure right outside the North airport exit, but since it was late (after midnight), that didn't delay us. Hertz had the longest line I've run into yet (four parties in front of us), but they were well staffed so we were climbing into our car less than 25 minutes from arriving downstairs at the airport. We were upgraded from economy to compact. When we get a Chevy Cavalier from the other agencies, it never has the keb fob locker, but the ones from Hertz have it, which is a big convenience. All in all, another good experience. Don't fear the offsite!
