Latest hand luggage restrictions?!

This has probably been asked a million times but please could someone advise me about the latest hand luggage restrictions, we will be flying UC Virgin in July. What size bag can I take? Can I take toiletries and make up in hand luggage? Gameboy? and most importantly a lip balm!?!!!!!

Latest restrictions are here and don't seem to have changed since November last year.

You should be fine with a Gameboy. Lip balms and cosmetics are fine as long as they are in containers less than 100ml.

Virgin baggage allowances are:

Passengers departing from UK airports are permitted to carry one item of cabin baggage each. Cabin baggage must not exceed a maximum length of 56 cm, width of 36 cm and depth of 23 cm including wheels, handles, side pockets etc. Other bags, such as handbags, may be carried within the single item of cabin baggage. All items will be x-ray screened and must not exceed 6 kilos in weight in Economy and Premium Economy, and 8 kilos in Upper Class.
