Latest Costco policy

Thank you! I'm all about the cash back and Costco gift card (which we then use to book another vacation), but I HATE that I'm on one end of the phone while they are calling Disney. It is so weird! Whatever. I'll play their silly little game.
I didn’t have to stay on the phone. They took my number and said they would call me if they had questions. And yes, now that we ended up getting it booked finally, I will be happy for that big Shop Card (no longer cash back, I believe).

Ah - I meant cash back on our executive club card. My bad. But the Shop Card is just as good since we are there once a week anyway!

I’ve got almost the same situation (except I’m not yet Silver). **Edited: Actually, I am Silver. It’s beeen so long, I forgot my level, lol!** I’m assuming there will be FCC when Alaska this summer is officially canceled.

Does anyone know if DCL will apply a FCC (that hasn’t been issued yet) to a cruise I hope to book in a few days? I’m nervous about waiting till this summer is canceled before booking... Thanks.

If I have a cruise booked with Costco for this August. Because I think that will be cancelled, I want to book for summer 2022. With my Silver Status I can book on the 24th with Disney. If I call Costco when everything calms down, can I change my reservation over to Costco and use the deposit from this August to next summer's cruise?

If you haven’t yet been issued an FCC, there’s no way to apply one that may occur in the future.

Sorry, I didn’t explain that well. Say I book Alaska 2022 this week. And then next month, DCL cancels my Alaska 2021 cruise and offers FCC. Can I apply that credit to the 2022 cruise? Thanks.

Yes, I'm interested as well! I'm thinking about going this route.

If I transfer our reservation to Costco (or any other travel agencies), will I be able to schedule excursions, book onboard activities, change staterooms, etc myself?

Excursions - yes
Onboard activity - yes
Change staterooms - no, because this could change your fare and anything that can change the fare has to be handled by the TA, whether Costco or some other agency
