We just booked for 10-16-04 and since we booked so late we got the late seating (I am on the waiting list for the earlier seating) I am hoping that they have space in flounders each night for my 11 month old (I know that you are guarenteed three spaces) but if they don't can I bring a stroller into the resturants? - he will already be sleeping by that time. It will be a whole different a issue with my 3 1/2 year old. I am hoping she holds up ok as well. What do you think are my chances of getting a 6:00 pm seating (I am waitlisted but have to be pretty far down considering I booked 5 weeks out)?

We are cruising on the 18th and I had the same question about whether or not the Magic is stroller friendly.
I noticed in you post that you said that there are 3 spots guarenteed in the Nursery. Is that for everyone?

Hi Debbie!

It's me again :) From what I have read on these boards....if you are not changed to main when you check in....you can go to guest services and explain your situation. There is a high probability that you will be accomodated. Also, you can bring the stroller to dinner if you need it.

When you board the ship, you will be given a time to go to Wavebands to request a change in dining times, but there were a lot of people doing the same thing. All I can say is don't worry at all. We cruised on August the 29th which was my daughters 10th birthday. We were on late seating and by the time the waiters brought a birthday cake out for her, she was already asleep. The head waiter asked me if he should wake Sleeping Beauty and they did and sang to her and then they just pushed two chairs together and covered her with a table cloth! If they are that accommodating with a 10 year old, they will be fanastic with a baby. Please just enjoy planning your vacation. Disney will do the rest! Hope you have as much fun as we did!

We just sailed on the Magic - 8/21 Eastern Caribbean and had the same situation. I booked last July before I knew my wife was "with child" and choose late seating.

I originally put ourselves on a wait list for early seating, but after discussing it further with my wife we decided to keep late seating.

In case you are not familiar, if you have late seating (8:30) then you go to the early show (6:00). The choice was to have Sarah eat with us early and fall asleep at the show or vice versa.

Booking Flounders every night just didn't seem feasible so we kept our late seating, Sarah enjoyed the shows and then usually fell asleep during dinner. ;)

Most folks park their strollers at the entrance of the restaurants, but depending on table location you might find the room to park it out of the way by your table. More times than not we left the stroller outside and just brought her in the car seating.

During lunch and sometimes breakfast the restaurants aren't that busy so it is easier to find a place out of the server’s way, although in true Disney fashion they always try to accommodate whenever possible if you really want to bring it in.

For the record we did book two more cruises and chose early seating for both. My wife also gets sleepy by 10:00.

Jeff
