Late October/Early November Photopass Share

Hi all,
I am going to be at DLR November 1-8. I would love to start a photopass share with any others who are going to be there around the same time. It seems like all of the other photopass shares are already full.

I'll post more details tomorrow, I am really tired right now and am going to get ready to go to bed.

Here are the rules for the late October/Early November Photopass share...

Before everyone leaves, please send a money order to me to cover the cost of your share of the CD. The final cost depends on how many people sign up for our share, so I’m thinking that since trips are coming up pretty soon, we should cut off the date to sign up in about 1 ½ weeks…well, let’s just say 10/18. Once you have signed up and are on board, send me a PM and I’ll email you my address where you can send the money order.

Here are the rules

1-Take your trip to DL!!!

2-Get your photopass card (or more then one) from the photographers. Take LOTS of pictures! I’ll post a map of all of the locations in DL and CA so that you don’t miss any.

3-When you get home from your vacation upload all of your cards using the login ID and password that I’ve set up for us. (We will upload on a certain date to make sure that everyone participating gets their photos in on time).

4-Edit your photos and add boarders, special characters, etc.

5-Once everyone has uploaded and edited I will order the CD. It will be sent to me and I will put all of your pictures onto a CD and mail them to you.

Our trips are coming up pretty quick, so if you are looking for a photopass share, please let us know asap.

Let me double check how many days you have to upload photos. I know that one person who was interested in joining the share is going to be at DL 10/25-11/4, but if she uploads in November, it should be ok.

This will be my 3rd attempt to get in on a photo pass share... I've been too late for the others. I'll be at Disney on Oct. 30th (Trick or Treat Party), and 31st (Disneyland park)... gonna buy our first annual passes shortly. I'd like to be part of a group pass, but have one question... how long will you be accepting dates of people attending? I ask because I'd like to be able to get the photos in time to send them in cards for Thanksgiving if possible. Either way, though, it will be great to have them affordably for our family memories.

This is only my 5th th post so I can't give my email address and don't know how to PM yet. (Have to have 10 posts, so I'm working on asking questions.) ;-) I'll have to watch for a response here for now.

Hi, thanks for letting me know that you are interested, and welcome to DIS!

Right now it will depend on how many people sign up. As of now, I'm going to be there November 1-8. I could have everything downloaded and edited by November 11-12. If we made the order on the 12th, I would get the CD shipped to me around 7-10 days (I think that is what it said). Then I could get the CD sent out to you asap. That would leave about 1 week. If you are very serious about doing it, I'll definitely add you to the list and make sure that everyone edits/downloads photos no later than the 12th.

Well, we are starting to get some interest in our PhotoPass share. I'm going to accept people until the 18th, which is next Saturday. If we can get a few more people to confirm, it should make the CD pretty affordable.

I have a paypal account and I think that would be the easiest way to get me the money to purchase the CD. If you do not have paypal, send me a PM and I can provide you with my address to send a money order. I don't want any money yet...we need to know how many we have participating so that we can get the final price.

Hi, Looks like your dates would work out great.

I just need to figure out how many days we have to download all of our pictures. I'm thinking it is 30 days if I remember correctly. If that is the case, I would request that you wait to enter your photopass codes on the account until the first week of November. Would that be ok?

You'll have 30 days from the first day you get your photopass pictures taken to claim the pictures. Once the first person claims their pictures, you'll have an additional 30 days to edit them until they are removed. Also, if you by something, you'll have an additional 30 days to edit them.
