Late night Ohana reservation

Hi lovelies,

So we have an incredibly late Ohana reservation (9.55pm) and I’m wondering if anyone has experience dining this late? Is the food and service still of good quality? I love Ohana but it’s expensive and don’t want to get short changed due to a late booking. I’ll continue to try and get an earlier time but nothing has become available and this was the only time when we booked too.

Any feedback and experience with this is most welcome!

I have not been that late, but I wanted to say keep trying. I originally was only able to book a 9:15 for an upcoming trip. Using TP reservation finder I was able to get one for 6:50.

Yes! I have. Twice. We like to eat at O'hana on arrival day when we stay at a monorail hotel. We don't live where one can fly without a connection, so late arrivals are common for us, and factor in a delay or the ME making us the last stop, and well, don't book anything before 9!

The "show" part of the evening is mostly over, and there may be a few empty tables, but really, you won't feel like anybody is rushing you out the door. Our service and food were good both times we dined late.

We ate late one night, no issues with food or service. The biggest pain was getting back to our resort that late. We just ate there in December earlier in the evening and there wasn't much show(a little live music) like there had been in the past so I wouldn't feel like you are missing out there either.

We have eaten at 'Ohana pretty late. We had an 8:55 p.m. reservation but didn't end up sitting down until around 9:30 p.m. I honestly didn't have any issues with the service or food quality at all. My issue, and this is completely on us, is that we let the day get away from us in a few ways because of the late reservation, which affected the meal.

1. We had lunch at a regular time, without much thought as to the late dinner time. It ended up making us very "hangry" and the 30 minute wait post ADR definitely was made worse as a result.
2. We went to Trader Sam's before dinner because of the proximity. However, because of the amount of time we had, we definitely had a bit more cocktails than we imagined, and it made the eventual meal a little less worthwhile based on the price and difficulty of the ADR.

All in all, the restaurant was great, but we made some personal mistakes
