Hi all. So, the answer is probably that they won't let us do this. However I am sure someone here has experienced this before. I have a 7:55pm reservation at MK on a night the park closes at 8pm. I would prefer to wait until after the fireworks then go to get seated. I am sure it must happen all the time and they probably have an established procedure in place to either just allow it or to block all entry if the park has closed. Anyone experience it personally or know someone that has? I am imagining to just wait until 7:59 or a little later (If I am confident the app will let me check in after 8pm) to check in, and then race over after the fireworks and hope they seat us...thats the current plan anyway.

Where is your reservation? If it’s near Main Street USA, you won’t be doing much of any “racing over” after the fireworks. The walkways turn into the equivalent of Manhattan on a Friday evening’s rush hour. :earboy2:

I would first check in and then ask the Cast Member at the podium if they mind that you watch the fireworks before sitting down. Then just watch from wherever the entrance of the restaurant is. I don’t think they’ll mind.

It is currently at BOG but I am hoping to find a similar time at Skipper if I can (don't really want the fixe)

The fireworks views outside Be our Guest are excellent. You just won’t see any castle projections.

I would keep Be our Guest and watch the fireworks from right outside the check in podium before sitting down to eat.

Just my 2 cents. Enjoy!:smickey:

I had a similar question but it was more about actually trying to get to a 755 reservation at Crystal Palace when fireworks are at eight. We would be walking over from the contemporary and I’m concerned that it would be hard to fight the crowds to get to the restaurant

Yes, it will. People aren’t supposed to stand in the walkways, but it’s VERY crowded on main st right before the fireworks.

They told me that if they were closing. At 9 or later then they would allow it but not on nights they close at 8
