How late do places stay open onboard? I saw that Palo closes at 10PM but what about the clubs, bars, gym... I'm a very late night person and know I will have to adapt but curious how much :confused3 Thanks for any input!

If I had a navigator in front of me I could be more specific, but I do remember that on this particular cruise Rockin' Bar D (on the Magic) is closing at 2 AM.

I remember that I thought the gift shops closed to early for my liking. You know at Disney World things stay open very late. I didn't find that on the cruise.

The adult pool and hot tubs close at 12:00. Last year DD and I spent some really relaxing time in the hot tubs between 11:30 and 12:00pm. Its a great way to wind down at the end of the day.

Disney was my 6th cruise. One of the big differences is Disney is an early to bed, early to rise cruise compared to other lines. The late seating shows are BEFORE dinner, unlike other lines, and that may be because the type of passenger they attract does go to bed early.
The clubs that were open were pretty much empty after 11 pm, which on my other cruises was about the time I was gearing up to have a good time.

oh dear..well maybe I'll just have to start a new trend for the DCL. Adults who like to stay out late. Or maybe I should just bring lots of sleeping pills :earboy2:

I do find it odd though that the theme parks are open late 12:00 (for rides), 1:00Am (for shopping) but the DCL customers are an early to bed crowd.

Room Service - 24 HOURS :teeth:  :earseek: :rotfl: :cool1:

We were on the Jan 23 Wonder cruise. About the only time our DD 6 was in the kids clubs was after dinner (late seating) so my DH and myself could go to bars. We had a pretty good time but there were not many people out after say 10:30. That was kindof disappointing. Everything else about the cruise was fabulous and I can't wait to get on the boat again, but it looks like we are going to go RCCL for out next cruise because the other group going with us do not have kids and would prefer something not disney like. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Disneyland closes the rides now in the summer at 11 pm, and the shops at midnight. California Adventure closes at 9 pm, so the trend seems to be spreading.
We're heading to DL June 22, and both parks close at 8 pm the 22nd and 23rd.......open late on Friday the 24th. Apparently the 22nd and 23rd are the last grad nites....which seems way late, my son graduated last Friday, although some of the schools here don't end until June 10.
