Late lunch question??

I need some advice. I am planning to use EMH and don't want spend that time in a restuarant. So I've been thinking of doing a sit down for lunch but we have never done that. Can you tell me your experience? Right now the two parks in question is MK and the Studios. We usually go back to the resort around 1pm or so. Should we get a time then for a lunch and take our time so when we come out we can watch the parade at MK? What sit down places would you all recommend?

Why have I waited sooo long to plan my ressies! Tomorrow is MY day! LOL. I can tell this is going to be a loonnnnggg night!

I know what you mean there is alot of time wasted to do a breakfast, we always do a lunch around 11:30. this is a good time because by that time you really need a break from the heat. If you are doing counter service Columbia Harbour House is good at MK

Is it morning or evening EMH and which park?

If it's morning in MK than I would book an early lunch at CP or The Plaza and still go back to the resort for an afternoon break.

Both days will be early morning hours. And I'm looking for sit down service. Actually we like eating breakfast in the parks b/c we get into the park early but when they don't have earlier times than 8am, I don't want to waste precious rides time eating.

Still same advise for Mk.

For DHS I would book either SciFi or 50's PT and still take a little afternoon break. That way you can come back for the evening. I would be in need of a nappy if I got up early enough for morning EMH.

I agree, don't do a TS bfast on morning EMH. Totally a waste of that time. I agree with the early lunch. 11:00 or so. We loved Crystal Palace in MK. Have a snack for breakfast, ride some rides and have an early sit down lunch. Same for DHS. We like Sci Fi. It's a nice break from the heat. Starring roles has yummy things you can pick up and eat while you're touring around. Love the danishes.

I can't miss those EMH's!!! The last 2 times we've been it's been empty. I love that we can get soo much done before the heat sets in. Do you think it's pushin it having lunch at 1-2pm? Then we can watch the parade and then head on out. That way we can come back later that night to watch the fireworks or if we just want to stay at the resort for the night. Most likely we won't want to eat dinner to early and plus it would be counter service.....decisions..decisions..I thought i had this all thought out until I was looking at my schedule and I noticed we were eating when the park was open an hour early....I can't have that.

What works well for us is scheduling a late character breakfast. I think some count for breakfast around 10:30 or 10:45 AM. That way, we get the AM EMH, enjoy the character meal, and get to take the break.
