I have just booked the Disney Med Cruise for 6/27/07 and want to go to Disneyland Paris either before or after the trip. I have 3 questions, How many days should i allow for the parks? Should I visit before or after the cruise (smaller crowd levels)? Lastly which Disney hotel would you recommend (Party of 6)? :moped:

I would suggest before the cruise, as French school holidays start on 4th July. But whenever you go, it is always advisable to avoid the weekend if you can, as they are always busy.

Most people find that a three day trip is very pleasant. But you could do the Disneyland Park (Magic Kingdom) in one day, and the Studios in a half.

I don't know if you know anything about the DLP hotels - you can have a look at the virtual visits here to see what appeals to you. The Disneyland Hotel is THE place to stay as far as location is concerned, but the other onsite hotels are only a 10 - 15 minute walk from the parks.

Hope this helps. :) And welcome to the DIS! :wave2:

Most hotel rooms have a maximum occupancy of 4. This is a standard legal maximum in European hotels. For your party therefore you have the option of suite/family room (expensive) or ajoining rooms.

Unlike WDW all the on-site hotels are walkable to the park with Santa Fe (the furthest) being 20 minutes walk. They are all served by shuttle bus except DLH; understandably :goodvibes

As there are 6 of you I would reccomend the Holiday Inn or the Kyriad as the rooms are not so expensive.

We would lean towards convenience over cost, keep it simple do not stress out. :cool1:

On that basis hotels closest to the parks in order are Disneyland Hotel, Hotel New York, Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay Club, Hotel Cheyenne and last but not least Santa Fe :)
