So, I began to look for flights for upcoming trip and it's going to arrive late. 10pm landing time in Beauvais. So, I guess we won't be in our hotel till midnight. It's a shame to loose the whole day, but other flights are priced higher over 300 Eur than this one, so...
So, what should I do? Contact the hotel and tell them about our late arrival?

Have you looked at going a day early and booking a hotel near DLP for that night? If that's not an option i would send them an email just to be worry free. Do the boys know about the trip?x

I was going to suggest this too.

Not an option as there are no cheap flights the day before, only the Lufthansa ones snd those are priced twice as much.

Have you tried putting it all through skyscanner?
Sometimes we find flights a lot cheaper and with a huge range of options. Am I right in thinking that you don't fly directly to Paris?
To be honest now to get the cheapest prices with always book 330 days out if possible except Ryanair - their flights tend to be cheapest at 6 - 8 weeks beforehand.

haven't tried that, maybe I should. I only check official sites and the one I know shows the cheapest options. If we fly to CDG, it's not direct, but if to Beauvais - 2h40mins and we're there. And long way to park... But it's way cheaper. I'd rather spend those 300 eur on something else, like Inventions :bitelip: Oh, and it's a Ryanair flight.

They do have the safest aviation history :thumbsup2
Stay strong another couple of weeks so and you should have great prices! Inventions is worth the splurge, flights not so much. How many days are you staying?x

It's for 6 nighs/7 days ::yes:: And we'll do an overnight stay after the visit. Ryanair flights are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only.

I'm from another country, Easyjet doesn't fly here.

Oh well then I wouldn't be so upset about losing part of a day as you have a lovely, long stay :cool1: :yay:

No point going for a short stay. Flight might cost me more than the stay. Looking forward for the trip so much.

So do I contact hotel and let them know I'll be ariving this late?

No, it's a secret. Will make a suprise for them and tell two weeks before the trip.

Turns out I'm good at keeping secrets.

Brilliant!! They will be so excited. Secret trips are good fun. Any ideas on how you will tell them?
It is so hard to keep it secret especially when you are fit to burst with excitement.

off topic

I'm also doing a surprise trip

I have bought a Mickey & Duffy teddy (from the disney store sale, it also has his name embroidered on the foot) and a Mickey Bday card.

Mickey will be placed in a box with his duffy teddy, the bday card and special Disneyland Paris Tickets.

lol well that's the plan for the reveal!

Have you looked at the Creative Dis forum? Some of the fantastic designers do airline ticket style invites & letters from characters inviting your child to Disney. Its all free, all you give is thanks!

Probably will write a letter from Mickey and invite them to stay. Or from McQueen, we're staying in SF this time. Not sure yet.
