Our flight lands at 9:45 pm we plan to ride DME. Should we tag our luggage to get picked up by DME or get our own? What happens if the flight is late? Or should we tag all but one. The one put everything we need for the night and let DME deliver the rest the next day? We are flying with 3 kids not sure how many bags yet but they are free so we might have 4-5 if we pack extra food for the week.

If you actually arrive after 10 PM you need to go to the carousels to get all bags, yellow tagged or not.

File a baggage claim at the carousels before leaving if your bags are not there.

It is possible that if you leave it to DME to get the bags the next morning then there may be limitations on filing baggage claims at the resort if the bags never show up.

I would pick up the bags and head to the ME busses. We arrived at MCO around 7:30pm, and the resort at 9pm. Our bags were finally delivered at 1:30am.:headache:

I'm surprised bell services would do that. If you put a do not disturb sign on your door they'll bring them the next morning.

I always recommend getting your own bags if you land at any time after 7:30. Landing after that means you aren't getting to your resort until 9ish, which means bags may not get to your room until midnight or so. Yes, you can tell Bell Services/Luggage Assistence that you don't want your bag delivered until morning, and then hang out the 'privacy please' hanger....but I like to be unpacked before bed.
I would get the bags myself...yes, it will add about 15 mins to your overall time, but you'll be able to get settled, and then into bed for a good night's sleep and hit the parks running first thing in the morning.
