Late Flight and Minnie Van

I can totally call on this, but I was wondering if anyone knows the answers off the top of their head. We have a late flight getting into MCO (scheduled to land at 11:43pm). This is a school/work day for my fam, so we're going to be exhausted. I was thinking this might be the time to splurge on a Minnie Van since we're staying at OKW and I know Minnie Vans can drop you off closer to your room than private transfers or ME can. But I see that Minnie Van stops airport service at 11:59pm. Does this mean they completely just stop then? Or will they pick you up as long as your flight is SCHEDULED to land before 11:59pm?

Don't know the answer, you probably should call to make sure. I don't know what the Minnie Van's charge now for an MCO trip but if you are too late for them to pick you up, you certainly can reserve a car or van service and it will accomplish the same thing.

If you already have your room assignment, and given the layout of OKW, I don't see why a car service (or taxi, or rideshare) couldn't drop you right at your building.

No, Minnie Vans can not get you closer than a Ride Share can. Ride Share can go anywhere a private car can go at OKW. Which would be right up to the building.
I have no idea if they'll be running by then or not, you can always ask but you are paying $150 for a service that would otherwise cost you about $30 (plus tip for each)
I mean, sure, why not. If you need 2 car seats by all means but really, that's a lot more for the exact same service.

The only places Minnie Vans go that a private car/Ride Share can't are the bus stops at MK and right to HDDR.

Last time I was at OKW (last summer), I took a private transfer to the port and we had to come to them near the lobby. Has that changed? That would be amazing!

Doesn't make sense, except maybe to reduce competition . Once the vehicle is admitted through the guard shack, nobody is preventing them from driving on any roadways or through/to any parking lots within that resort.

Last time I was at OKW (last summer), I took a private transfer to the port and we had to come to them near the lobby.

That might have been a decision by the car service company, wanting you in one exact, specific location that the driver can easily find.

Ride Share can drive anywhere you can drive your car. No idea why a Minnie Van driver would tell you that other than they are no different than any other CM, full of things they think vs things they know.

Now, I know nothing about private transport, I never use them. They may have policies of their own about where they go but that's not a Disney policy. I only use Ride Share. I do use Minnie Vans but only to go to MK, since they CAN drive there and no one else can

I'm pretty sure that is incorrect for OKW. Once you're past the guard gate, there are no further restrictions.

Some resorts have internal gates which only permit guests or Disney employees, but not OKW.

ONLY CSR and FW. And at CSR they do have pick up choices for the various areas so there must be some way Ride Share can get through. We've only stayed at the Tower and there is not internal gate to get there, so I don't have first hand knowledge. Only saw all the different areas as pick up points on the app.

Actually, in 2018, I used Uber to transfer from OKW to AKV and the driver picked us up right outside of our building. On a similar note, we were also able to have our AmazonPrimeNow grocery order delivered directly to our room as well. I was in the room at the time of delivery (and I made sure that the driver KNEW that I would be there) so I am sure that was why it was allowed, but I wanted folks to be aware that it was possible.

Well yeah, OKW only has the main guard shack where the guard can allow them through. Resorts like CSR have an unmanned gate to get to some areas of the resort where you need a magic band or key card to scan to get through. There is no person to let them through.
