Late Fall Hotel Discount

People with a Disney Visa can book at a discounted rate right now. They basically get early access since there are only a limited number of rooms available at the discounted rate. The offer shown states that the public will be able to book it on Tuesday but unless you happen to have seen the Visa offer (here or somewhere else) you wouldn't actually know until Tuesday that there was going to be a discounted rate coming up. Also not officially announced is whether in addition to the rate that Disney Visa holders can book now and everyone else can book on Tuesday is whether there will be a Magic Key rate. Usually there is and it is 5% more than the Visa/public discount but we will likely have to wait for Tuesday for that to be announced.
Well said. Thank you.

Disney Visa cardholders through the Disney Visa line - phone and Disney Via website. There could be a Magic Key Sale.
Disney Visa announcement can happen earlier than Disneyland's general late fall sale.

Disneyland will have its own sale when the general public can call the Resort hotels and the Walt Disney Travel Company and on disneyland.com.

I am assuming Disneyland will announce its sale on October 3rd.
The above site has the historical data.
Yes. They announced that via the VISA promo image. It goes on sale October 3rd for the dates of Oct 22nd to Dec 21st. It will likely be the same % discount as the image in post 11, or 5% less.

If you mean you're waiting to see an announcement for a sale between NOW and Oct 22nd, I think that will be very unlikely.

Disneyland has had a late fall sale before. It is very likely.

No sale in 2020.

Mousesavers has the fall 2019 sale info.

Very likely.

It would be highly unlikely for them to have a sale from Oct 3rd to Oct 22nd.

I think the only sale we will see is the Oct 22nd to Dec 21st sale. It is currently on sale now for VISA card holders and will be available to the general public starting Oct 3rd. My money is on it being 5% less for the general public and the same percentage discount as the VISA sale if you're a Magic Key holder, or it just being the same percentage as the VISA discounts but for everyone starting Oct 3rd.

Agreed there will no sale for October 3 to Oct. 22.

Usually GCH 15% off and DL and PPH 10% off. The late summer early fall sale was higher.

The Disney Visa sale is not Disneyland's official late fall sale. That is the point that I was trying to make in my earlier post from this morning. Whether the official sale is the sane, more or less than the limited Disney Visa sale offer remains to be seen.
Disneyland has not officially announced the sale on its website to the general public and Magic Keys as of this morning and currently.

Are there usually two different sales running concurrently?

The VISA sale says “standard booking period” Oct 3rd to December 11th. That to me sounds like the 15% at GC and 10% at DLH will be available (pending room availability) from Oct 3rd to December 11th. Standard booking period to me makes it sound like it will be open to anyone to book, not just VISA card holders.

I’m wondering now if during previous years maybe two promos overlapped and if I booked the more lucrative one! I never usually pay that close attention to the promo page and instead just the final price on the booking page…

This summer Disneyland had two offers and I got the more lucrative one when I called WDTC. There were two separate offers this summer and ran at the same time. Pay attention to the promotion page. When it happens, I will post it here.
I am on the East Coast and the sale drops 7AM PST and 10AM ET. I called at 7 AM! The cast member ran the 2 offers and I got the larger amount taken off my bill.
Two different sales can run concurrently. Cast members will apply the sale promos to your reservation and give you the best offer. Standard booking usually means when a sale is official/open to general public. Sales can overlap and run concurrently. Always best to call.

There is usually a Disney Visa late fall promo that begins about a week before Disney itself offers theirs. The Disney one is usually a better deal for me as a MK holder staying at GCH. And yes, they do overlap.

Hi. Is there a minimum number of nights you have to book to get the discount? We were lucky enough to get the Dapper Days discount for our stay in November but are hoping to add one night at the end of that. This is our much-postponed May 2020 trip. A discounted rate for the last night would be wonderful! Thanks!

Call the number on your booking confirmation from Disney Dapper Day (it's not the same as the regular Disney booking number). Ask if you can add a day onto your trip at the same rate. I just did this yesterday.

The Magic Key discount (up to 20%) and regular discount (up to 15%) have dropped. Same dates as Visa offer - Sun-Thur nights, Oct 22-Dec 21.

Wow, just checked and GCH 20% discount is still $400/night more than what I booked last spring. Guess I'll keep my "regular" rate, LOL.
