Late checkout?

Are you typically successful in getting this when asking? Do you just go to check in desk and ask? What time will they give if granted?

Late check is 12:30 ish
Try once you get into room.
It all depends on staffing of hijsekeepkng.
Only one per floor.
Don't count on it , be blessed if it's honored

They've allowed us to do late check out each time we asked except one time at POP. They said no.

Do you walk up to the front desk and ask or call from room phone? At check in or day of?

We are staying at contemporary and have chef Mickey reservations around time of checkout but were hoping for a little extra time so we didn’t have to rush!

I would ask in person at the front desk. If you call the "Front Desk" you get a person in a call center somewhere who has no power to do anything for you.

This is important to know if you have any problems when you're there - call Housekeeping or Bell Services or Maintenance because they're on site. The people who answer the "Front Desk" line usually are not.

I've asked at the front desk at check in or as early in the trip as I think of it. The one time they told me no asked later in the trip. They can probably only say yes to so many guests leaving the same day. We do the same thing, we like to go to a later breakfast on check out day and be able to return to the room afterward, not be rushed etc..
