(I think this belongs here, but if I am wrong, feel free to move it.)
What happens if I accidentally checkout late? I know that someone can call Mousekeeping early in the morning and see if we can checkout later, but what happens if someone forgets and everyone assumes that they did and we have permission to do so? It sounds a little crazy to ask, but I want to make sure I have all my bases covered since I have never stayed in a Disney hotel before; we have only stayed at ones off property nearby in order to take advantage of Florida resident discounts. We are in a new phase of Disney travel and decided to we want to experience the resorts and what they have to offer. That being said, off property hotels have a $50 late fee and you have to be out by 1pm. Does Disney do something like this or will I be charged an astronomical price? Luckily we always make the 11am check out time, but being able to sleep in a little later is appealing. It would certainly be a last minute, on the fly decision if we do so, but I am worried that we will forget to ask and then have to pay almost the equivalent of another night.
