Late check out?

Does anyone know if the Universal Studios Resorts allow for late checkout?

call the front desk on your check out day and ask if you can have extended hours.

you could inquire the night before you check out as they should have the list of rooms that will be occupied for the next day.


depending on the occupancy level of the hotel, you can get an hour or two for a late check out.

check out is 11:00.

i have used the late check out many times.
i usually get a 1:00 or 2:00 time period.
(probably due to being a platinum you first member)



those that book the AE package receive a 4:00 late check out at pbh.

ask at the front desk the night before your check out day for a late check out so you don't have to rush back to the hotel to check out by 11:00.

i check in to the hotels either on a monday or tuesdays.
and i check out a week later either on tuesday or wednesdays.
i have found that it is much easier to get the late check outs on those days of the week.

i'm not saying you can't get a late check out on a friday/saturday/sunday, as you can. during special events in the parks on weekends, the hotels really fill up. if you request a late check out for a weekend day and do it early, you have a decent chance of getting it.
change my statement above from asking the morning of check out to the day before..............i am guessing that the ones that ask first, would get that break.

i have stayed at all the onsite hotels.
my favorite one is rph.

I would just park my stuff with bell services, making sure you're done with the room, and go on out and have fun. We had no need to actually check out. You can even arrange for them to email you your bill.
