Late check out at Aulani?

I read some other posts that some received a late check out request. We were just hoping to get a few more hours out of it - 1pm check out instead of 11am.

Does anyone know if this should be requested directly at the hotel or through DVC Member Services? And, of course, if they even honor these requests during high season (we are going in a few weeks).

We know about the Luana Lounge but of course would be easier if we could just stay in our room until 1pm.

Front desk just call and ask; you'll be set to go!

(Assuming they have no guests to fill your room in that day)

DVC generally do not do late check out.

Last April I asked about late check out and they gave us a 2pm check out (DVC). We just returned yesterday and was smart enough to book an extra night we had a 10:40pm flight it was wonderful didn't have to stress about packing, storing our luggage and then showering in the community locker room. We checked out at 7pm

We stayed DVC a few weeks ago and got a late check out. If you do online check in, select 1 pm as your check out time then. It is an option. Then the hotel has it in the record before you even arrive. When you get there, talk to the front desk. We were able to have until 1 pm. Then we used the community locker room to shower etc before our 9 pm flight out. It worked well for us.
