Late Breakfast at GF from HS and back?

Not interested in doing the H&V character breakfast at HS; is it unrealistic to think we could rope-drop at HS and then make an 11:30 res at GF, then back to HS for the rest of the day? Anyone guestimate what the commute time on that would be?

Not unrealistic, but more of a pain than I would be willing to take. Figure the time to be about 45 minutes there and 45 back, but could be much less depending on how lucky you are with buses.

It's certainly possible but you'll lose a chunk of time in the park. I would leave DHS no later than 10:30a, factor in 60-90 minutes for your meal, and another 45-60 minutes for transpo back to DHS as buses from the GF can be spotty.

You only have to pay for parking once. With a car, it would probably take about 30 minutes (allow for walking to car, driving, parking, etc.). I agree that it's possible, but kind of a lot of work. Have you looked at any of the Epcot area resort meals? Those are a little closer to DHS.
