Late breakfast at Akershus and do they have waffles????

Since DH and DS aren't morning people I booked a Akershus breakfast for 11 am. It will be a nice brunch for us.

Is the food still fresh during this time???? Also do they serve waffles here? Will all of the characters still be here at this time??

The CM told me the last breakfast ressie is at 11:10.

That sounds like a great time for breakfast. I thought they stopped seating at 10:20, so maybe they have extended the breakfast times. We haven't eaten the last breakfast at Akershus, but have at other character meals. We love the last breakfast. It seems we've gotten the best character interaction at those meals since there aren't as many people there. People are leaving, but not coming in, so it thins out and the characters spend more time at each table. We've never had a problem with food that wasn't fresh either. They must keep making it all the way up until the end.

We've done the last seating at Crystal Palace a couple of times, 'Ohana, Hollywood & Vine, CRT, Donald's Safari at AK, and the old character meal that used to be in Dinoland at AK.

All the characters should still be there. They stay until everyone has seen them. As for waffles, I'm not positive but I don't think Akershus has waffles. I've read they have some terrific cinnamon buns though.

I haven't had waffles at Akershus

We were there 10 days ago and they do not have waffles. This was however our favorite character breakfast! For us it beat Park Fair & CRT for food and interaction.
