Late Availability - Last 2 Weeks August.

I inadvertently posted this over on the operations board but of course it is better here. We had to cancel our visit home in August ( last 2 weeks ) because of work commitments they have now been removed. Unfortunatel we had quite a major fire at home and my family has been living in a hotel for the last 10 weeks! We really need that Disney pick up and are trying hard to get a flight from the Uk. My question is this - At this late stage are we likely to get a 1 bed villa or studio at VWL or for that matter any other DVC resort. Any Ideas?

Are you DVC members or are you paying cash? I would think you stand a very good chance of getting something if you are DVC. Not sure how the whole cash thing works??? I know that the end of Aug. is supposed to be slower. We are arriving on Aug. 15th for 8 nights at SSR. I am so sorry to hear about your home and the terrible fires. I hope everything turns out okay for you all. ((((HUGS))))

We are DVC members. Thanks for the hugs. At the end of the day its only property and my wife and kids were ok so that is all that really matters*

Did you call MS to see if they had something? Please let us know!! I am sure this was devastating for all of you but you are right.....at least your family is safe and that is all that really matters
