I'm having a hard time trying to decide on the dates for our next trip. I was planning for early November but then I realized that November is no longer "value" season and that Jersey Week makes the parks quite busy. I wanted to go then for the better weather and to minimize the amount of school my children would miss.
My other option is late August, which is still value season (so we could stay 7 nights instead of 6) and my kids wouldn't miss any school, however would the weather (heat and hurricanes) make it too miserable? I have heard that the last 2 weeks of August are light attendance-wise so even if it was hot, we would likely not have the lines to wait in like we would in November.
We will probably be staying at AKL if that makes any difference.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
