Late August/Early September Brides--How hot?

So, how hot is it in the afternoon? I'm from Philly and humidity is bad so I think can deal, but really how hot is it? I was there last year for the last week of August and I didn't think it was that bad.

Like at different times in the day?

we got married 2nd sept and yes it was hot for us being from the uk but not unbearable.

Last eyar there was a hurricane around that time which upset the weather a bit but we had bright sunshine and our wedding was 2.30pm. it rained a little about 3.15pm just as we were doing a few pics but its stopped about 3 mins later and that was it

I got married August 16, 2007 at noon. It was HOT, but not unbearable since we were inside most of the time. The worst part was the cake reception because it was outside. It didn't rain at all that day.

On August 31, the high temperature averages between 87 and 93 degrees. On average, it rains on August 31st 1 year out of every 4 and these usually come in the form of thunderstorms; which typically occur between 2 and 4 pm or so in the afternoon.

As for specific average temperatures at specific times, here goes my best shot:

1 pm: Usually your high temp of the day of between 87 and 93 Degrees.
2:30 pm: Around 85 Degrees, unless there's a thunderstorm near you and if that happens, the temps would be in the upper 70s.
5 pm: 82-84 Degrees.

The humidity can be pretty bad....usually with a 75 degree dew point on average.
