Late AT flight into MCO and Hyatt Regency Airport/Hotwire?

I have an AT flight coming into MCO about 9:50 on Jan 2st. If we do stay onsite at the Hyatt Regency Airport hotel, do we just get our bags from baggage claim and go check in at the hotel? And then, the next day, do we just take our stuff down to ME to get to Disney? We had reservations on Jan 2nd on AT, but changed to the 1st when they flight times moved much later in the day, taking away a day at the parks! Do we now need to notify Disney of our flight change at all? Do we still use the yellow tags disney sent, or do we just leave them off since we will have to be grabbing our own luggage because we won't be taking ME until Sunday, instead of immediately following our Sat night flight? I'm not sure I guess, is that what we do? Do we have to get and bring our own luggage on the ME with us, instead of them delivering it to our resort room? Any help would be appreciated!

Also, looking for opinions from people more in the know about booking the hyatt regency in the airport throught Hotwire. After checking the dis for info on staying at the hyatt regency orlando airport, I went to Hotwire to look and using parameters some dissers have stated as fairly certain to indicate that that is indeed the hotel I would in all likelyhood be booking. I need a room on Jan 1st, check out next day to go to Disney on ME. I used 2 A, 2 Ch in my search, though there are only 2 of us, as suggested as helping to indicate which selection would be the Hyatt. Hotwire shows only one 4 star available that is listed as airport, with 95% satisfaction, 4.5 TA rating, and a rate of $59 + taxes, all good indicators. To me, it sounded good, like it is pretty sure to be the airport Hyatt. To those with more experience, do you agree that this sounds likely that it will be for the airport hyatt regency?

Thanks for any help, appreciate it! :goodvibes

Okay, still looking for any info on the first section of my question if anyone can help with that. I think we just send our luggage without the ME yellow tags, and then we are just supposed to grab our luggage when we land and then the next day, bring it on the ME bus with us. Any opinions or info is appreciated, we've never not gone directly to the resort right after our flight.

We did go ahead and use Hotwire and did get the Hyatt Regency in the airport!! Yay! We got it for $59 + taxes, so got it for $72! :woohoo:

First section: Do let Disney know about the date change; they should send you new tags.
Don't attach the tags but do take them with you.
Claim your luggage and bring it to your room.
Attach the tags; in the morning, call Bell Services and let them know you need your luggage transferred to Magical Express. They'll get it to the sorting center for you.
Proceed to the Welcome Center whwnver you're ready, or by 11 AM (i.e. checkout time), letting DME transfer your luggage.

Why let Disney know? They already have a Jan 2 reservation, which is when they still want to us ME, at least that is how I am reading it. If that is the case, they don't have to let ME know at all.....

Thank you both for responding! Well, when I talked to Disney today, I mentioned what we were doing and she didn't say they'd send any new tags or anything. I can call just to be safe, I guess. Kaytie, Thanks for letting me know about calling Bell Services, that would work out great! Any idea about how much notice I'd need to give them for them to pick it up in relation to when we'd get the ME? We'll probably go around check out time, but I saw the info on Hotwire said noon check out so guess I'll have to check. They can also take our carry ons also, if I have tags, right? Thanks again, I appreciate the feedback! :)
