Do I need to let Disney know if I will be arriving late on my check in day? I currently should arrive at the hotel around 11:30PM.

Thanks.

Although they should hold the room, I would just drop them a courtesy call to let them know, so they can put a late arrival into the system for you, better safe than sorry...

Why take the chance...just give them a call , and tell them you're going to be a late arrival, so that they don't give your room away....

We had a late arrival one year and they put 3 of us into a king room when we arrived (had to ove the next am). This was late August, I know they had other rooms available. We haven't been back to CBR since.

We will arrive late this summer, I plan to email the room assigner 3-4 days out as well as call the front desk that day. Our flight is supposed to get in at 10:42 pm, but traveling in the summer you never know...We are taking DME so that should help as they let the resort know you have checked in at the airport.

Yes, let them know you are arriving late since WDW practices 'room ready'.
You check in (any time) and if there is a room ready, you get it. To me (don't blast me everyone), this has caused folks thinking they can check in in the early AM and get their vacations started and those of us who live far away or are unwilling to take an add'l day of vacation to arrive early, get the 'left overs'. With my ressies now, I let them know I'll be arriving late. Don't know if it helps or not, but makes me feel better!
