Late Arrival Magic Express Luggage Question

Our plane arrives at 9:05pm so we are eligible to have our luggage delivered to our room after arrival rather than haul it ourselves.

Does anyone have experience with this? Will it really be midnight before our bags arrive to our room? Is there a way to request the bags be dropped off with the front desk rather than brought directly to our room. We have toddlers so I'd hate to get them settled and to be and then have someone banging on the door. I can't imagine since they don't deliver for flights after 10pm that there would be that big of a backup, but I really don't know what to expect.

I know I can haul it myself, just wanting to avoid it if possible, due to those pesky toddlers haha, that I love. Haha. :-)

TIA

It's best to assume that it will take the full time for them to be delivered.

You CAN ask Bell Services to hold them until the next day. Be sure to put the do not disturb sign up, just in case.

It's always recommended to bring what you'll need for the first 24 hours in carryons anyway, so assuming you do that, having things delivered the next morning shouldn't be a hardship. Have fun!

If your flight arrives, ontime, at 9:05, you probably won't be at your resort until about 10:15-10:30ish. DME/Disney tell us that you can expect your bags to get to your room up to 3 hrs after resort checkin!!! So, it could be 1am before your bags get to you.
It also depends on your resort. The value resorts tend to have much slower luggage delivery service, while those resort with true Bell Services are faster.

So, if you don't want to be disturbed by baggage delivery, this is what I would do.
Mention it at the front desk when you arrive. Tell them you would like your bags held until the next morning. Then, stop at Luggage Assistence/Bell Services and tell them the same thing. When you get to your room, hang out the 'Privacy Please' sign on your door!!! You shouldn't be disturbed then. You may see a flashing red light on your phone when you wake up. It would probably be a message saying that your bags are waiting for you. Call and have them delivered.
Pack whatever you may need for the night/morning in your carry-on bags.

Thanks a bunch! I misread the 3 hour delivery AFTER check-in.

:-) I think this will be our plan.
