Late April?????????

we were trying to put in for our vacation requests at work...someone beat my husband to the punch on our first choice(early Feb)..so I was looking online and hotel rooms seemed to REALLY drop in late April..I am assuming this is due to low attendance.....is this true?I was reallly looking forward to having the park without super sized crowds..please help..ps..weather good at that time????

Yes, late April is a great time to go.
Spring break has just ended.
It's the calm before summer season starts.

First week in May has good rates too. Kids are still in school and it's right before summer as well.
