Hi,
I have nearly finalised my first trip to wdw for next year, hoping to book this friday!:goodvibes
I have a choice of flights fri 25 april or 29 april, staying for 2 weeks. I know Easter is 20 april next year so I want to know if we go on the 25th are the parks still going to be busy, are we better of waiting for a few days?
Our first full day will be the 26th, am I over thinking?!

We went at Easter in 2002 and it was rammed due to spring break. I vowed never to go that time of year again.
Can you go mid-late may?
I hope I haven't dampened your spirit but wanted to give you an honest opinion.

I have visited at Easter. Both weeks either side are very busy and the few days either side busier. It's nothing like Christmas week though and both are perfectly manageable if you have a touring plan and are prepared to get up early a lot. If you're not don't go at this time. Or stand in long lines. Fact is, the further away from Easter weekend you get probably the better for crowds.

I love visiting at Easter, I'm not trying to put you off. Just saying it comes with realities.

We went out the Thursday after Easter this year and the crowds dropped on the Saturday.

With Easter being so late next year they few days won't make much difference as late Easter make May more busy and the crowds while not at Easter levels will still be higher than a year with an early Easter. There are people who like visit between Easter and summer (which is start of June for most US schools) as an early Easter gives more capacity for these visitors while a late Easter means more are there at the same time!

We have done May quite a bit before DD started school and you really notice the effect of Easter.

I agree with the previous posters.

I went in Easter and it was crazy busy. It would be best to wait if you can....if you're going to spend that money and time you don't want to have to worry about battling the crowds. :goodvibes:goodvibes
