Late afternoon/evening only?

We're coming over to Universal from Disney where we're doing 2 early morning magics & one PPO breakfast. I know my family doesn't want to wake up early every day of vacation. What would it look like if we slept in & did the pool for the first part of the day & went to the parks later in the afternoon through close?
We're staying offsite, but I am considering getting a room for one night for the EP.

It looks like the parks will be open until 10pm when we’re there. I don’t think we’d be staying any later than that.

That’s good. Just keep an eye on the schedule. If a company decides to rent out the park for a party, that can happen last minute and the parks can close 6-7pm. Also, Grad Night and other events can get overlooked.
