We'll be at the World next week for our annual trip. We always stay off site and have never done a character meal before.

I made reservations earlier today for 1900 Park Fare for 10:55am next Sunday, as we are getting in very late Saturday night and not doing any parks on Sunday. This was the only available time.

Since it is listed as closing at 11:30am, is this going to be too late? Assuming we don't get seated right on time, will we have any time to eat and enjoy the characters? Will the characters even still be there at the end of the meal? Thanks.

I haven't been to 1900 Park Fare, but I've been to plenty of other character breakfasts. Our favorite times are at the beginning and end of the the meal times because the crowds are lower and everything doesn't feel as frantic. I've never had a situation where the food didn't seem as fresh toward the end of meal service or that we felt rushed to leave. The characters generally spend more time at the table, too. I think you'll be happy with your 10:55 ADR.

I have a similar question - we have ADR's for dinner at 8:05 pm. I'm worried the characters will be tired by then & the food somewhat left over. Thoughts on a late dinner? TIA

This is exactly what we did last trip, and it was so good we are doing it again this time! We have an 11:10am ADR booked for 1900 Park Fare.

It was great! There was hardly anyone there so the characters came back again and again. My kids played ring-a-round-the-rosy with Tigger AND Pooh (JUST my kids)!

Tigger joked around, tried to put sugar in my tea and they were very interactive.

The food was fresh, in fact they were bringing out full trays of fresh food while we were getting ready to go. There was no rush to "get us out" and we had plenty of time to eat.

Make sure you try the strawberry soup!

Thanks so much for the info. I feel very relieved. I actually checked again this morning and they had a 10:45 opening, so I rebooked for 10 minutes earlier. I'll leave the reservation as is and stop checking now.

We have always done late breakfast/brunch(10:45am) at 1900PF on xmas day and New year's day(we don't go to a park on xmas day) and its been great..the crowds that want to hit a park are gone. characters and food have always been great here(we think its the best quality food of all buffets(loster eggs benedicts! yum!). When we have been, Mary Poppins is in the waiting area and did not circulate, but Pooh, Tigger, Mad Hatter and Alice did!!! great fun!
