Where do you exchange the vouchers for the tickets?

Ticket booth? Will call?

If we get there late on a Monday night, can we pick them up then or do we have to wait until everything opens on Tuesday morning.

I don't know the answer to this from personal experience, but the other thread on this topic says folks just took it to the ticket booth. I'm interested in how other people answer since we're doing this in a couple off weeks.

Also curious how long it took Last Minute Travel to send the vouchers? I placed my order late in the day on Friday so I'm not worried about it yet and don't want to be a pest to them (but will start in the next day or two if I haven't heard back from them).

I just placed an order a few hours ago. It appears they have changed the ordering process. I noticed that I had a link immediately to print my voucher from their site, and I was also able to have it emailed to me. If you're concerned, you might contact LMT by phone or via their live chat.

I saw that, too, but it looks like the receipt to me, not the voucher. :confused3 What they call the "receipt" and the "voucher" look the same, and at the top of the "voucher" it doesn't say "Admissions and Purchase Media voucher" which is what the receipt refers to. It's all very strange.

I placed my order a month ago and I too only see the receipt where it says 'voucher' on your acct. I have called them and they told me they send out the vouchers based on your dates listed for ticket use. We aren't going until July... they explained that they send them out in the order of the earlier travel dates, and eventually I will get mine. However, my SIL who ordered the same day sent an email inquiry and got hers quicker. When I sent the email inquiry, they simply emailed me the reciept again! argh! And I did see my SIL and the actual voucher does look different than the reciept and will say voucher somewhere in the form itself. So I would email them or call them. Great pricing, but not so streamlined of a process!

I was going to order from here but it does not say if and when the tickets expire. After reading this thread I am not completely comfortable with these guys:confused3

LMT tickets expire 13 days from the first day of use.

I also am waiting for vouchers, and getting nervous since we arrive next Friday!
I saved so much money, but I hope it works out to be worth the extra hassle, if there is any.

drag n' fly, here is a link to a long thread with a lot of info that may help you make a decision.

Sorry I meant the ticket expiry date not the use expiry date. I am going to fire off an email with some questions. Thanks.

I just spoke with a customer service rep from LMT, and she was very nice and very helpful! :thumbsup2 According to her, the voucher that you need to take to the ticket booth is the one that you can email yourself or print from the 'myaccount' link on the site. It is the one that lists the reservation and record number towards the top, but not the prices you paid, which is the only distinction from the receipt. I asked her to email me a copy of the voucher, just to make sure that it is identical to the one on their website, and it is.

They are printed and we are ready to go! :cool1:

Thanks for that info - this is the first time I ordered with them, and I didn't realize they don't send you the actual tickets. Thanks!

This is great to hear. Thank you so much for sharing what you found out. I emailed them last night and haven't heard back (their automatic reply said it could take 24 hours).

DizFan13 - can I ask when you are going to Disneyland, and will you post how it worked out with the voucher after you return?

We are going to be arriving next Friday!

Our plan is to head to the ticket booth on Friday evening, while on our way to dinner at Goofy's Kitchen, to exchange our vouchers . We aren't entering the parks until Saturday, so I hope to get the voucher exchange done ahead of time, so there are no worries in the morning! We have three different vouchers; the Character Dining, one 3-day hopper, and five 5-day hoppers, so I am sure we will get a complete experience of the process! :rotfl:

I will be happy to report back after our trip and let everyone know how it worked out for us. :goodvibes

Ah, ok, we're arriving shortly after you (Sunday the 18th). Hope you have a fun trip!

So I ended up calling them anyway because I checked my credit card statement and there was a foreign transaction fee charged to it. Called the bank (Bank of America) and they said that Last Minute Travel was set up with an international merchant code and they (the bank) charge a fee (it was about $13). I called Last Minute Travel and they agreed that they are set up as an international merchant and they would reimburse me for the fee provided I send in a copy of my credit card statement showing the charge, so I'll scan and email it today. I suggested they put a notice about it on their website and the agent agreed but also stated that each bank has different policies. So...just beware that this might come up if you use this company!

Since I had him on the phone I asked about the voucher. He stated the same thing posted above - that the voucher is essentially the same as the receipt only without the price information. He said either could be presented at the ticket booth to exchange for tickets.

Interesting ~ I couldn't get my card to go through, I called LMT and they suggest I call my bank (I used my debit card) my bank said they're foreign so they placed a 24 release on the block and it went through ~ I'm off to check my account to see if I got dinged with a fee!

ETA ~ looks like I won't get a fee, the charge went through today and I don't see any sort of fee assoiated with it.

This got me interested...checked my statement, and my fee is about $9. Hmmm...I guess I'll ask them for reimbursement too. It's only $9, but still. I agree with SaraK that LMT should at the very least indicate at the time of purchase that because they use an international bank, there may be additional fees, and recommend that shoppers contact their banks. That would possibly eliminate the problem that DisneyMomma81 faced as well. :confused3 makes sense to me, anyway.

In the Disneyland webpage it says children under 3 do not pay ticket but in the LMT site it is stated that children from 2 - 9 pay ticket. I want to know which information is the right one !! How reliable is the LMT site information?

I am still interested if this is all valid and if those of you traveling next week can use your vouchers. Please report back. That it all goes to a foreign bank sounds very suspicious. When I see discounts on DLR or WDW tickets they are usually a small amount (5-10%). E.g., check Ares or Getaway. This discount is much larger and made me immediately suspicious. I still am. :cool2:

I was thinking the same thing. I would be a nice discount but not at the expense of me loosing it when the vouchers do not work. The only person I could get mad at is me. What is the name of the bank would be my question? I am also unable to locate a base site for this company!

A couple months back there was some LMT discussion going on and someone posted the link of an article where Forbes listed LMT as a "Best of the Web" for travel deals. That makes it sound a little less shady.
