Last weekend in April! And easter crowds

I was just curious about the Easter crowds. We are arriving April 26th - May 2nd which is the weekend after Easter. How fast do Easter Crowds usually clear out? On crowd calendars it says the week of Easter will be busy but back down to crowd levels of 3-4 by the week we arrive. I was wondering with those of you have arrived shortly after easter if this was what you found? Either way busy or not we will have a great time!

The crowd calendars should be accuruate. We always travel on a Tuesday and in years past when Easter fell the Sunday before we arrived I found the parks clearing out more and more as each day passed.

I am curious too, we are coming in 4/23-5/2 and although Touring Plans reports 23-26 is heavier, but it does thin out considerably 4/26-5/2. Years past we went the first week in May and it's perfect. Flower Festival is always my favorite, lighter crowds and beautiful weather. Have a great visit "home"

I am hoping it the crowds mellow out by the time we get there! We havnt been since 2012 and we are bringing my husbands younger brother for his first trip so lighter crowds would be so nice! Also hoping for good weather! I don't want to feel like I'm melting

It's been a few yrs since we went at that time, but the crowds were good after Easter. It's driving me crazy trying to remember if we wet the Tues. after or waited a full week then went. We are planning next year trip for after Easter, trying to decide if we should leave the first Tues after or the 2nd Tues. so crowds will be at its thinnest..

I was thinking the same thing, reservations at pretty much every restaurant are available for our trip I was pretty surprised. We just booked on Tuesday and I figured a good chunk of reservations would gone but I got everything I wanted. Le Cellier even had quiet a few open for each day!

It sounds like everyone is going the week after Easter this year and there are plenty of reservations left. So it's safe to say, I'll be good going the week after Easter next year.

We went the week after Easter last year and it was fine as the week progressed. I think a lot depends on when Easter falls as well as this year Easter is very late and many schools will have spring break earlier b/c of this. Next year, Easter is April 5 I believe.

That's right, Easter is early next year, I forgot. I also forgot my Nephew is getting married on the 11th, so we won't go to Disney until after the wedding. So should we go the Tues. after which is the 14th, or wait until the following week the 22nd. Will later be better? Will we miss the crowds from schools being out by going later? thanks for all info.

I hope your right! I found a thread on when schools spring breaks are and the week we have our trip planned has the lowest number of schools out on break!!! I'm so excited! I can't believe I'm finally going back!

We are will be there the same time as you! This is our first trip in the Spring. We have only been in November and September. Hoping the weather is nice and the crowds are low!!

Generally the late April until Memorial Day is good. Even the the day after Easter Sunday through that week won't be as bad as the week before Easter. Schools have pretty much finished up their Spring Breaks by then.

Ha! We were hoping the same thing about the soft opening! I'm sure it's a long shot but I can dream right?!

We were there the first weekend in October 2012 and were lucky enough to see the soft opening of enchanted tales with belle! So fingers crossed we get luck again!

Just to let you know, most of New England will be off that week for April School Vacation.
