Pardon my ignorance but at the moment the Jungle cruise is escaping my brain...is that the ride to Tom Sawyer Island or something different? And is Mickey's Philharmagic the same as Fantasmic? I THOUGHT I'd studied so hard and was ready and I think I've failed! I've got to cram some more!

No worries! WDW is overwhelming for everyone. Now take a few deep breaths...there....now don't you feel better??

The Jungle Cruise is in Adventureland. As for the ride over to Tom Sawyer's Island, it's just a raft as far as I know (no seperate name/ride). Fantasmic is shown (almost) nightly at MGM and Mickey's Philharmagic is a show at MK in Fantasyland.

Hi Everyone! Somehow I completely missed this thread up until now (gee, after spending about 6 hours a day on the DIS how did that happen?!)

My DD8 and I will be staying at AKL Sept. 27-30 (WOO HOO!!! ) This will be our first trip to Disney since 2001 and our first time ever staying onsite!!

Here's our (dining) plans:

Wed. 9/27: lunch at Sci-Fi, still trying for ADR's at Boma for dinner
Thurs. 9/28: dinner at CRT
Fri. 9/29: lunch at Coral Reef, MNSSHP at night
Sat. 9/30: ?? (depart at 7pm )

Hi all,
Count mrFDNY in!!!!!!!!!! If this counts i'll be arriving at pop(perferred) early on sept 28 and checking out oct 7(late) Me(28,disney ) dw(29) and ds(ariving at 5 y/o but turning 6,while we are there) SHH its his surprise b-day trip,so don't say anything to him. We plan on waking him up on the 28 and telling him 10 mins before towncar arrives at our house to take us to airport.I will be at mnsshp on the 2nd.Look foward to meeting some dissers on this trip.

When do final documents usually arrive? We haven't received ours yet and I'm antsy/anxious to see some "proof" that we're really going! ​

We are going one day after you and our documents just came the day before yesterday. We had paid in full in July! So hopefully yours will be there any day!

I called they claim I won't receive anything because I booked online, am arriving by car so I don't need any DME tickets or anything.

then a few hours later they called me.................to make sure we have all of our dining book because things are booked up due to the free dining plan!! EEEEKKKK!

I leave Sept 20th and my documents FINALLY arrived today! (I did get my ME stuff about 2 weeks ago) I paid in full about 2 weeks before it was due so I was also starting to get worried. I was plannig to call next week, but that beautiful fat envelope was in the box today!!!!

My sweet family & I are joining the crew headed down to WL 9/23-9/30!!! We took my DD(5) when she turned 4 and now it is my DS(4)'s turn!!

The 4 of us have ADRs for most nights...not all the best times but oh well...it's vacation!!

We are looking forward to Askersus, Chef Mickey's, Playhouse Disney bfast, & WCC!

DD can't wait to ride "Goofy's Barnstormer" 6 times in a row again!!!

DS wants to ride the "Dirty Train" aka Runaway Mine Train.

We have been tivoing every Disney show we can , watching every Disney movie together as a family, and reading all the stories to get us "ready". I think I am more excited than anyone in my family...already have things set to the side to pack & a big countdown started on the chalkboard in the playroom...28 days!!!

Arriving 4pm (OIA) Sept 29th so we just squeeze in At POP until Oct 11th then off to HRH for our first Universal visit (we also plan on doing a SW visit during our DW stay) SO EXCITED!!!!

my DW and DD eat gluten free (no wheat in case you're wondering)

Feingold diet? I tried that with my son for about 4 days. It was all any of us could do it for. We LIVE for foods, and we all like our foods VERY unusual and never the same. The more unusual and ethnic, the better. We go out of our way to get groceries from many different sources so we can eat a variety. It was like trying to keep my retriever from her tennis ball... it just wont work.
I admire your ability to stick to it. I always wonder if it might have helped, but I'll never know.

Technically we'll be at Disney from Sept. 22-Oct 3! And I'm sooooooo excited!!! Now that my dh officially knows about the trip (& that he's not going...) since last night, I can shout the news...I'M GOING TO DISNEY IN 28 DAYS!!!!

Slightlygoofy. I may take you up on that offer part of the way through out trip. The youngest grandson tends to be a bit whiney at times. Actually it is more like "extremely whiney" instead of "a bit whiney". I think this trip will probably test the patience of this grandma. At least you can park your grumpy grandpa on a bench under the castle and tell him you will be back to pick him up later!

If any of you see us feel free to say Hi. Were a family of 4. I'll be the bald guy (mid 30s) wearing an All Ears lanyard with several of the little rare chrome mickey DREAM pins. Thats the only pins I want on mine. I buy all I find on ebay. The worse condition ones I give away to little kids. Even in very poor condition they are worth much more than the new ones. I dont do the whole pin thing, just the DREAM pins only.
We push a Peg Perego stroller.
