So we are heading down May 24th for the last week in May and are trying to find out how crowded it will be. We have checked three crowd calendars so far... "Dads" "easyWDW" and "Undercover tourist"....all with conflicting reports..one has it light...one has it moderate and one has it crazy busy!! which one to believe? Have you even been the last week in May? if so what was it like? Thanks

I have found easywdw to be pretty accurate. I'd go w Josh's predictions.

Busy. Like in the line for Test Track right a rope drop stretched all the way past the Electric Umbrella.

We have visited Disney the last week of May and first week of June for the past three years.

We also had lots of rain during those weeks. Two years a tropical storm impacted Disney weather while we were there.

Pack your patience and your ponchos.

Definitely not light.

It will be pretty busy - a lot of southern schools are over by then. I'd say 7/8-ish during the week. Memorial Day weekend will get to be crazy busy - like 40 minute wait just to get on the monorail from the TTC.

I've been that week before. It's getting busy, but it's not summer/holiday busy yet. Memorial Day weekend will be busy the middle of the week slightly less so. At least maybe you'll be tempered a little by all of the Midwest schools that now have to do snow make up days that week when they should have been off.

My sister's Girl Scout troop will be there that same week to celebrate graduation. I'm prepping them for crowds, but not insanity.

The crazy busy experiences are not what we found when we went from May 24 - June 3 in 2012. We followed a touring plan, going to recommended parks, arriving before rope drop, hitting headliners early, using FP. We took swim breaks in the afternoon. We found the crowds very manageable. So much so that we are returning for the same time period this year.

We will be there May 21-28 I am a little nervous about the crowds because I am pregnant and I don't feel I will be moving all that quickly to avoid them. We are going to be using easywdw because we have used them before for other trips and found it worked out well. We have been there for summer crowds (July and August) and we have also gone the week before Christmas getting home on Christmas Eve so I am hoping it is not as busy as those. Our plan is to get up in the Am get to the parks and after lunch head back to the hotel for some swim time and nap time then later in the evening head back to the parks. Either way I think we will still have a great trip! OP good luck and I hope you have an Amazingly magical trip!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

This isn't too bad I guess. We're following easy WDW touring plans too, and go to all the green parks (except one day we are doing MK EMH in the morning, and it's a red day)

Our first ever trip last year was from May 28-June 4. It was definitely busy, especially in the afternoon/evening, but we managed just fine. We took advantage of rope drop frequently, especially at MK, which helped tremendously. We left the day before Tropical Storm Andrea deluged the area, but did encounter a few periods of rain. We didn't let it get us down... we just had a fun in the rain instead!

We are going back during the same time frame this year (right after Memorial Day) so it obviously did not deter us from another visit. Curious how FP+ will impact things this go around, but going into it with a positive attitude.

We just re-booked to this same week because of the 24 hr event and not wanting to make 2 trips in one month and I'm getting a little worried, especially because we have a first timer with us, and I really want her to enjoy it.

Luckily she also turns out to be a SW fan so we'll actually be hitting up DHS on a weekend  but aside from that hope that the recommended parks are where it's at!

Busy through Memorial Day. Then steady for the rest of the week. Not spring break crowds but still busy.

I'd just pick one crowd calendar and stick with it. I've been using easywdw lately.

I know there will be just under 200 kids from our middle school band running around over Memorial Weekend plus their families and the chaperones.

Our school is getting out on May 22nd this year.

We went Memorial Day week last year - 2013 - and found it busier than we'd like for sure, but not unbearable. Small World would hit 30-40 minutes by 11am for sure, so getting to MK especially at rope drop was important. We tend to travel during more "off season" times, so were a bit thrown off by the crowds so we'll be doing early October instead this year.
