I am the attendance clerk at our neighborhood school

JUST got the job last week!

Prior to that I was the Health Aide at the same school. So I worked in the clinic at the school.

...wow, 2 weeks???

Yup. Kids get 2 weeks between each term/semester during the year. Term goes for about 11 - 13 weeks. So, March/April; July; and September, Aussie kids get 2 weeks break. Then about the week before Christmas, they break for summer. Summer break is about 7 weeks. 13 weeks of school holidays; 12 - 15 days of public holidays and 4 curriculum (no kid) days. That's a lot of holidays.
