3 left one who is here until 3pm since her Mom works today-and the neighbor girl who can go home anytime and only one who should be gone already

But heard from FIL that my SIL with cancer is not doing too good-nearly bed ridden and her Husband doesn't help to keep the house clean at all-such a jerk

I'm so sorry to hear this!

I can't believe her DH is such a jerk. I guess I'm just one of the lucky ones. My DH is so helpful whenever I'm sick (and even when I'm not)!

DH got the last of his 1099s for his off-duty work yesterday so I guess I should start working on taxes this weekend.

Anyone want to know why I have to work tonight??

Why do you have to work tonight?

It really burns me up for a couple of reasons...

I'm covering a shift for the other front-end manager. She is out for a week because she bruised her tail-bone! She's still going to school, she's still going out with friends, but she can't work. And the manager won't even let me take one frickin' day off when I'm laying on the bathroom floor barfing my guts out!

ugh.. that would make me so mad too!

Thanks-I think the end is fast approaching and I hope DH is ready for this

-Everyone is living in denial about her illness-saying how good it is that she lost so much weight-when all I can she is the disease taking over-I've seen this all before when I use to work on the cancer floor with adults-never a good sign when they have rapid weight loss

And the other reason is because we've had major cuts in hours for the past two months. It's been really rough on everyone. And because I have to do the schedule I'm the one who gets ALL the grief....."I want more hours," "I NEED more hours," "Why did so-and-so get more hours than me." I could go on and on but I think you get the picture....


....and I'm working tonight because NO ONE would pick-up the extra shift even though they all want more hours!

If I worked there I wouldn't hound you.. I would like just 4 hours a week.
