So what's up with you?

My parents are coming to visit this weekend. That means we have to do major clean up to the "guest apartment" because I don't want my parents to stay there in the state that Fran and I live in. Basic sleeping and toilet access, but no leisure areas, arm chairs, breakfast table....etc Those are full with "stuff". I've been trying to clean out these areas so that we can put the breakfast table back up with chairs and have at least two armchairs accessible.

We are going to Napa Rose at the Grand Californian Hotel for our Anniversary Dinner. We will actually be dining on the night of mine and Fran's second Anniversary, my parent's anniversay is two nights before, the day they arrive. It will be an hopefully fun weekend!

Aside from my teeth hurting, I'm all right. Just at work. I'm almost done with the resident laundry for tonight, so that's a good thing. I'm off this weekend and have a massive amount of personal laundry and cleaning to do, so that'll be fun

Thank god we have a friend who needs employment, so he works as our laundry guy and sort of housecleaner. I call him my "house boy" because he kind of is, it's sort of mean but sort of true....He was here today we have clean sheets and clean laundry!

So Dana, I see you have a green light....I guess this might be one of those times that the mods don't come around for some time...I have to feed the kids and go to #2, it is our night to spend with the other cat tonight. I may be back for a fleeting beforebed post, but I will assume that between you and Sharon this thread will be closed when I wake up. I'm guessing since it's well after midnight for either Kim they are fast asleep!

I will check in once more before bed, but probaly if the thread ain't been shut down yet, it will be tomorrow before they notice it....just curious how a mod knows when to shut down a thread?

Wouldn't it be ironic if the mod answered the question and then shut down the thread and made themselves LTP!

So just for the heck of it, I submitted a question on the G&L forum because they are so lax over there, I mean you can post a question on anything and they don't really care what the subject is! So I asked the Moderator how they are notified of threads over 250 and if they have to log in and check or if they receive email notifications becuase I was curious...we'll see what he says.

He's just hilarious, I love this guy! He can dis anyone better than the rest of the members. I think that's why the G&L forum is so much fun even if I don't get over there as often as I should!

I actually had to go take care of one of my residents. I'd stopped by her room to see if she had any Tylenol (for my mouth, she's basically like another grandma to me), and she was lying on the bed in a very bad state. We actually just sent her out to the hospital.

Oh no, that's awful. I can remember how many times that Fran's mom needed the paramedics. I have sympathy for her even though she was a witch, her father, on the other hand, I enjoyed when they dragged him off kicking and screaming, which did happen!

So the G&L moderator sort of told me that they have to find out that we have too many pages....so until someone clicks over here and figures out that we have over 250 pages it won't be cut off. I thought they might have some kind of email notification thing, but evidently not, they just have to discover it.....

Yeah, no kidding Thank the universe for my painful tooth, I guess, right? If it hadn't been for that, we never would've checked on her tonight because no one told us she was having problems. The funny thing, though, was that she was able to ride her scooter down to the lobby (her room is too cluttered for the paramedics to get a stretcher in there), and then I had to take it back upstairs, so I just rode it up. It was actually kind of fun!
