I used to work in a refinery (yes, a petrol refinery - Shell) and the plant operators had a:

• 5 days on, 2 days off
• 5 afternoons on, 1.5 days off
• 3 nights on, 5 days off!!

rotating shift.

I have a question for you. You went to the Wishes dessert party on your last trip, right? Do you think it was worth it? Would you go if you were alone? They extended it through December, and I'm thinking about booking it for one night of my trip, but I'm not sure if I want to or not.

I thought it was great and I'm not sure if it was worth it. If you LOVE dessert and assuming that each Disney dessert is worth about $6, then you need to eat about 4 desserts to breakeven. The creme brulee and the key lime tart were great. The mango shooter was not so great. Everything else fell in between.

I had Mother's Day as an excuse to book the whole family in....and the special occasion helped make it worthwhile. You have to decide to go for the Desserts; not for the location to view fireworks. The Terrace is okay to see the fireworks and you don't have to fight with anyone for a spot.

The thing is - if you weren't going at MNSSHP and F&W, I would say go for it. This is extra dollars that you could spend enjoying the desserts at F&W and Illuminations.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Honestly, one of my favorite places to watch Wishes is in Fantasyland by Dumbo with an ice cream sundae from Mrs Potts. I think I'll just do that instead The reason I like it there is because it feels like you're surrounded by fireworks instead of just standing there watching them. I like being on Main Street, too, obviously, but the absolute best view I've ever had isn't possible since I'm no longer a CM The rooftop of Liberty Tree Tavern = AMAZING.

Well, it technically wasn't a 'legal' place for us to watch it, but our manager took a small group of us up there one night for Hallowishes and it was just awesome.

I've been out and about claiming more scavenger hunt items and points. We did a day trip out to the local (and only) battlesite that I know of; and visited the gold field attraction.

We went panning for gold. Sadly, we didn't find any.....
neither of us can quit day jobs for now.
